Vuelta a Espana Stage 3

Baldato, the KoM jersey wearer is in the breakaway, but today there are no climbs...

Burghardt isn't as fast as he was in the previous days and this is our last chances. Tomorrow the mountains will come

And we aren't really in front on the sprint starts

But Ciolek makes a great effort to take the lead

Boonen seems to be the maint threat as he is right behind Ciolek and Cavendish

Cavendish puts himself between Boonen and Ciolek. Boonen can't go through!

No that he managed to keep Boonen behind, Cavendish sits back in the saddle like he would want to let Ciolek winning

And it's again a double for Columbia! This time is Ciolek first and Cavendish second.

if he plays on hard, that´s enough. I don´t think any1 in here would like to read a story ´bout the sprint train that might only get two stage wins/Grand Tour. There are very few people who do a story on extreme.
remember that he is specialized (!) on sprints. look at the mountains, he never qonquers them in victory.
I play with quickstep on hard and the first season I won all the one-day classics except fleche wallonne and amstel gold race. |

not only me but the team is specialized on the sprints. In the last metres ussualy I lose some speed but I already have a good advantage by the perfect train. Look on the pictures, with 2 or 3 km to go Boonen and Barbosa aren't even close to Ciolek and Cavendish.

Yeah, I know but it just looks too crazy when you take a double for the third time in a race like Vuelta |

yeah I let Ciolek win there cause he has no other win this season. From now on Cavendish will go for all the wins.

yeah me too. At least have the points jersey in Madrid, which seems to happen, if Cavendish won't do what Eisel did in Le Tour. |

Problems for Columbia on the most important climb of the day. Rogers, Zabriskie, Martin, Ignatiev are all left behind

Gerdemann and the others aren't far either

Tjanllingii is caught by Gilbert and Sastre

Vuelta a Espana Stage 4

First mountain stage and guys like Devine, Langeveld and Rebellin are in the breakaway.

John Devine won all the intermediare climbs and he will wear the king of the mountain jerseys at the end of the day, the grey jersey.

The first attack on Alto de Carrascoy was made by Soler

One of the first riders that went after him was the rider with the no.1 dossard, Andreas Kloden from Agritubel, the guy who will probably keep the French team in Pro Tour.

Then the big favourite to win today, Damiano Cunego, made his move

And Cunego really shows from what he is made of as nobody can keep it up with him

Kloden and Pellizotti are in the first chasing group

After a few moments Frank Schleck is there too. Can they now catch Cunego in 3?

Lovkvist is somewhere in the pack

Just 1km left for Cunego and the others are behind

Frank couldn't help Kloden and Pellizotti. He is even left behind now

Win for Cunego and he takes the gold jersey from Cavendish. He was second in Giro this year, can he improve that in Vuelta?

Pellizotti second. Kloden third, still Cunego's main rival as he is better than the Italian in the TTs.

Lovkvist finished with the pack. He is now 20th overall and 2nd in the U25 rankings.

Stage
1. Damiano Cunego Lampre 5h33'49
2. Franco Pellizotti Liquigas + 1'07
3. Andreas Klöden Agritubel s.t.

Deutschland Tour Stage 4

Veogondy the guy who has the KoM jersey is in the breakaway to defend it.

Vansummeren attacked early today, with 12km before the last hill

On the real hill Di Luca has the first to make a move

Menchov went after him

Gerdemann went there too. He has to keep his yellow jersey

Vansummeren is first at the top with a pretty good advantage

Gerdemann, Di Luca and Menchov are the chasers

But Di Luca and Menchov don't want to take some risks on the donwhill and Gerdemann left them behind

Though this was Vansummeren day. No one could keep it up with him

Gerdemann is second. Keeps his yellow jersey, after winning 1 minute on the downhill over Menchov and Di Luca.

even if I wanted, I don't think that Lovkvist could keep it up with Cunego. |
