I dno about Ten Dam. They should probably try to keep him in it with Kelderman, you never know how many riders will abandon and open the door for an "easy" top-10.
Yes, he was high on the GC after the Pyrenees and Ventoux (2 imapctfull mountaintops and an ITT), but quickly went out of it in the Alps with Mollema who still managed to finish off decently
don't forget that he finished ahead of Mochema the next year (9th against 10th)
not to sure about the split leaders thing, see it work for them (2010, 2013, 2014 for example) and work against them (Gesink, Mochema and Kruijswijk all losing 9 minutes or so on a flat stage due to a crash, can't remember the exact year though)

Yeah, exactly like one of those Tours when riders abandon left and right, just look at the weak top-10. He was over 18 minutes behind and is now a year older. He was on a much higher note in 2013 when he climbed better, last year him and Mochema pretty much Zubeldia'd themselves to the last two top-10 spots. If he top-10's, you can choose my avatar for the next full year

Another reason to cheer for Ten Dam then. Would be fun to see Riis with a Mollema avatar.

Shame Bennett isn't going after Giro incident. Hoping for Good Vuelta then Good squad though, and I'm gonna go for Ten Dam to Zubeldia a top 10 after that

Sastre doped just like the rest of them during that period. |

The reason? Are the NCs not in on the slack doping protocols?
I mean both sides are losing lots of money by not having either as the NC. |

Of all the riders not caught for doping in that era and also having a high amount of success he would be near the top of my list for most likely to actually not have doped.

Ya I mean he didnt beat a bunch of proven dopers or anything.
Hey I mean if you think Alberto is a doper because he tested positive for a bronchial agent and then think Sastre is totally clean... good for you. |

An anonymous source claims this^^.
Sastre has said he has no memory of Riis suggesting him to blood dope.
Riis said to Sastre that he was sure that Discovery Channel was still using blod doping during the year 2008 according to Riis himself.
As long as we don't know who the source is, we can't really judge his/her credibility. I'm pretty sure Sastre was on the dope as everyone else as that time, but well well.

Past:
Francisco Mancebo - Illes balears - Carlos Sastre - Kelme - Robbie McEwen
