With Gadret and Contador both in the top 10 + Pozzato doing well in the Points GC?

Well, a massive break for Rasmussen, and he takes his season goal: The Polkadot jersey - and richly deserved!
Too bad he can only do a top 10 overall, but I suppose that isnt too bad!

I just did some counting and if the current GC rankings stay the same then:
Accumalux scores 163 points from the tour
Flogas gets 103 and Ag2r 98, so Ag2r will still be ranked higher.
And Addy, Mancebo will Pwn Kloden in the Vuelta. Home-rider bonus ftw!

Oh well, not the best Tour, but after all I did get some stage wins from Petacchi who showed his worth for the team. But once again, it seems clear that Credit Agricole just doesn't have a really good GT-rider. T. Dekker will hopefully develop into one, though. |

Dissapointed that Contador never attacked but ending 7th and 8th, plus 3rd in the points gc and winning the overall team classification is still nice

goona be close for the individual rankings though between cunego, di luca and valverde. wasnt bothered to calculate anything but I think those 3 will be close. I should lead the team ranks now though... |

Well
the good:
Polkadot for Rasmussen
the bad:
only 2 2nd places and nothing else
only 10th overall
Overall verdict:
Bare passed the grade. We need something special in Spain now!
Im looking forward to seeing the overall positions now - Just to see how much we have to catch up!

I can't be bothered to post all the arrows again - here's your rankings update:
Individual:
Valverde and Di Luca tie for the lead!!! Tour de France winner Schleck only takes 4th, but is only the 4th rider this year to break the 200 point barrier - a very exclusive club
Rank Name Team Points
1 Alejandro Valverde France Televisions 253
2 Di Luca La Gazetta Dello Sport 253
3 Cunego La Gazetta Dello Sport 239
4 Frank Schleck Accumalux 214
5 Boonen Carrefour 198
6 Rasmussen Carlsberg 186
7 Cyril Dessel Team FloGas 151
8 Michael Boogerd Credit Agricole 140
9 Contador Ag2r Prevoyance - Renault 133
10 Ricco' Magenta Trefoil 127
Team:
It's tight at the bottom between Fed-Ex and Saturn, after Evans strong Tour. Cycling24's shocking Tour moves them closer to the drop, whilst its Carlsberg at the top, chased hard by La Gazetta
Team Points
1 Carlsberg 583
2 La Gazetta Dello Sport 570
3 France Televisions 504
4 Accumalux 489
5 Ag2r Prevoyance - Renault 354
6 Virgin Media 342
7 Credit Agricole 314
8 Team FloGas 294
9 Magenta Trefoil 286
10 Carrefour 260
11 Domina Vacanze 249
12 Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team 225
13 Ferrari 222
14 Telefonica 210
15 Cycling24 - Honda 197
