Theres a difference between somebody falling, and most of the peloton falling/being held up

It`s the same in football. Somebody is injured you play the ball out. There are some unofficial rules between the sportlers what to do in special situations.
Of course you don`t have to but next race it happens to you and you want others to wait.
Quite a lot of teams don't do that. |

They wait for Schleck, but they don't wait for helpers!
Isn't that a bit of unsportsmanship?????? |

Andy again on the end of the pelonton with a smaller gap. He really doesn`t look very good. |

Cervelo attacked, isn't that unsportsmanlike?

Mikael Delage abandoned after his crash earlier this stage. |

No. It's ambition. |

No one takes you seriously when you use caps lock. It just makes you sound like a troll.
And remember that arguably Ullrich lost the 03 tour because he waited for Armstrong after he crashed on the last mountain on one stage.

It makes it more exciting. I would love the Schlecks, Armstrong and Contador to lose time, and go on the rampage in the mountains. |

Well, they waited today, but will Armstrong wait if Contador punctures tomorrow? Some of favourites might surely have trouble on cobblestones and I doubt anyone will wait... |

A real opportunity coming up now for Hushovd to get himself into a very strong green jersey position

If they have trouble on cobblestones, it's because of their riding skills.
Not comparable at all to the mass crash today. If half the peloton crashes tomorrow, they will probably wait again. |

He crashed with Schleck, and looked pretty cut up. I doubt it. |
