Aye that one. To be fair I'd chosen the new transfers for Virgin for Smoothie, and the race planner, and training. Then Smoothie pulled out, so it made sense for me to step in Or something like that....

oh ok, i thought you were wiggle and i didn't see them in the race so i was a bit confused.
Yeah, first race, first win couldnt ask for a better season start.
and well, winning the race I had to count the PT points I scored, so I just did it for eveybody then anyway.
note: the opening TTT, I only let the first 3 teams score 3, 2 and 1 point. no individual points. I'm not sure how it works, the scoring topic doesnt say how.

Daniele Bennati tops the chart as expected following victory in Qatar, but Lars Croket is a strong 2nd after a breakthrough performance - 1 of 5 Belgians in the Top 10. With points for all finishers, 120 riders now have some ranking pts to their name.
And in the team standings it is La Gazetta dello Sport on top, thanks to Bennati but good showings from a few of their riders mean Rabobank are only 100 pts off in 2nd. They are the top 2 currently - and could this be the start of a season long battle for number 1? In 4th at the moment are White Bear - Wild Horse, with Croket helping them to prove their worth up in the top division. With 3 teams not riding, it is they who hold the relegation positions.

I highly doubt it. I told anyone that would listen that our goal is to avoid relegation. And maybe this unexpected result will do just that, but compete for the #1, i don't think so.
With that being said the boys did a great job, and hopefully we can continue to shock the world.
If I'll be there by the end of the season I'll be thrilled (eventhough I'm still convinced that SotD put too little faith into my team in his season preview).
