First Stage:

The breakaway,Dmitriyev is there,too.

80 km to go Hushovd is down!!he was a great favorite for the stage win today!

but then 30 km to go Bazayev and Zeits were down and can´t help Ventoso for the sprint, he will be alone and have to take another´s backwheel!

Ventoso takes the backwheel of O´Grady.

But one km later we made a big mistake we thought that Bennati will be the fastest of the sprinter so Francisco took his backwheel. But O´Grady is in front.

However Ventoso is very fast today and he passes Bennati but can he reach O´Grady?

No he can O´Grady was too fast today his sprint preparation was very well.

The breakaway it´s a one-man show by Meersman.

26 km to go Arvesen is the first who´s attacking.

then Ivanov Gerrans and so on..

O´Grady and Hushovd get away from the pack

But the pack is very fast at the moment so they catch O´Grady only Arvesen is still in front!

3 km to go Horner,Devolder and O´Grady attack on the last hill they will fight for the second and third place!

Arvesen is the winner!

this is the sprint

Nuyens is second

Stage 5 : Snapper Point - Willunga

Navarro in the breakaway.he wants to keep his jersey!

He gets the points!

Horner is the first who attacks on the last hill

then Arvesen and Scheirlinckx follow Chris.

after the hill this is the leading group

Devolder tries to get away as first.

then Scheirlinckx and Horner

3 km to go Horner is leading the race it looks good but can he get more seconds back?

suddenly there is Rollin and he will sprint with Horner for the win today.

Chris is still in front

yes Chris takes the stage win but where are the chasers?

they came very fast and so Arvesen won´t loose his leader jersey.
But however great race by Horner.

Final Stage : Adelaide Street Circuit

The breakaway ,Bazayev decided to be there today.

Gerdemann lost a lot of time after a crash
he will loose his young rider jersey and his good overall place.

Ventoso is in a good position but.....

he has no chance today because i forgot to press the sprint button
but there is a reason for that i have to laugh after i saw that:

poor Sieberg!!

the next race will be Paris - Nice.
i will not participate in any race in february because the whole team is in the trainings camp!
Contador and Armstrong take part in Paris - Nice and Klöden and Leipheimer in Tirreno - Adriatico. |

Why do you use training camps? It's almost cheating! |

no i don´t use training camps for hills or mountain or time trial only for the physical fitness
i will never use such a cheating training camp for improving the mountain stats. |
