Wow, Bettiol! Legitimate performance by the Italian, to stick with the leading group throughout and even managed to keep enough energy in the tank for an attempted sprint.
Though to keep his tank full, I imagine the rest of the squad burned through theirs, as it was a little surprising Lyu could only manage 30th and Blouwe/Hermans were nowhere to be seen. Still though, absolutely cannot complain with a 4th and added to Hermans' victory last year, New Zealand has been good to the Duvel - Tsingtao team.
Congrats to Sykkel_Freak, Gesbert was too strong, and also to the CT teams (Heine, jt, etc.) taking points off the PCT for once
Thanks for the report alex, very well done and loads of intel about the attacks were appreciated on a race like this.

Always one of my favorite races to watch - what a great report! Really fun to see riders actually utilize those downhills and the groups develop throughout the race.
Congrats to Assa Abloy!

Out of our depth here so wasn't expecting much and didn't get much.
Congrats to Sykkel and thanks to Alex for the reports.

Good race from a point scoring perspective, but slightly disappointed that Errazkin couldn't stick with the front group. I think the experiment of him as our hilly leader will be coming to an end even if we don't promote, as he's not quite strong or consistent enough.
Congrats to Sykkel and thanks Alex for the report! |
