Fine enough TTT, not completely ruining the tiny bit of GC hope we have

Solid opening stage, happily take a podium from Lauk, guy in the breakaway, and Vernon not getting caught out by the split.

Not bad, not good. Should have been closer to Hunter Valley and Tinkoff really.
Still, we are in a decent position, if the hilly stages aren’t all too difficult.

A very strong performance from the team there for 3rd! Conci and Storer both in very strong positions going into the hills. I expect Storer to lose out big time in the TT compared to Conci so hopefully Conci can get through the next 2 stages!
Congrats to Vesuvio on the win. Hopefully we can make it tough for them in the hills

Nothing to complain about there, could have been slightly better but that’s definitely an acceptable loss. Don’t think Wirtgen is beatable by anyone and will be in a league of his own anyway, so gotta be happy with that. Cool to see Hunter in 3rd behind EA and Tinkoff.
Thanks for the report!

Can't complain with what has happened really, still plenty to fight for even if we aren't fighting for the win here. Wirtgen looks hard to beat but who knows what will happen?

Can Zmorka survive the hills? Our race depends on that answer.
TTT performance could've been better but we've been underperforming in these all season.
Thanks for the report!

Aidan perfectly guiding Bjerg to keep him in the front group is the story I have in my head for this stage. A repeat tomorrow and we might be golden.

Gidich is useless. Anyways Mano is our main man here and so far he’s doing what’s needed |

Stavrakakis dropped, but he was also mainly picked as a TTT domestique. 4/5 of my somewhat well suited riders are still in the game.

The big puncheurs not getting involved sucks for them. Good finish from Dunbar, we have a great team and lost all but Yudha (who can’t TT anyway) so all depth scoring is out the window which really sucks. Really wanted to see where Firdaus could end up.
Thanks for the lovely report!

Mikkel got destroyed today and Aidan will surely get destroyed tomorrow, but suddenly the third option arrives.
Paillot with his breakaway ride suddenly has a chance of a GC top 10. He lost ~3 minutes on the opening stage, without that he would be firmly in the yellow jersey but he probably also wouldn't have been allowed in the breakaway.
We'll see where we end up after tomorrow. All kinds of possibilities

Haig can't stay on the flat, zmorka cant stay in the hills, we can't stay in the PT. Simple maths

Not bad. A good TT can give Kmieliauskas a top 5. Too bad about everyone else

An anonymous stage from our team but Storer and Conci remain 4th and 5th in the GC. Expecting quite a shake up tomorrow with the final TT but Conci should be well positioned to hold onto a Top 5. Let's see how we go!

We were perfectly placed for a decent result but a very selective stage destroys all hope for good overall finish with that 50km TT to come... Disappointing as especially Yates has been comparatively quiet despite being 2nd overall so far :/

Im just hoping that Gidich being so weak himself is due to Mano being the leader here. If that’s the case it’s fine and Gidichs races are still to come. Mano is in a very good position right now. Looking at the TT skills he should probably end up right outside the podium with a chance to put up a challenge for 3rd behind Wirtgen and Dunbar. |

Going to be a tense final day - Wirtgen has disappointed so far this season and hasn’t been as dominant, Dunbar, Mano and Roskas are all relatively close to him and with such a long TT anything can happen. Hoping Dunbar has a good day tomorrow and can bring home a podium.
Congrats to Duvel on a great win, Niu was a good rider for this stage and cool to see Van Aert get so close to a win. Thanks for the report!
