Decided to skip this one this year as it was a disaster last year. Good luck to everyone, particularly the CT teams.

Nice sprint from Einhorn to move up from 12th to 7th, just need to hope he gets a bit less boxed out in the run up.
Congrats to Demare on the win, not what I wanted to see for my GC hopes, speaking of it's a sign of encouragement that Hirschi finished 20th and an even bigger one that he's been given the number 1 jersey.

Quite a good start for us. Boudat 3rd in the sprint, Orue in the breakaway and getting some points. Hope Boudat can get another good result and some chances for the points jersey!

Thijssen 15th with Hesters 12th is a pretty horrid start. A bumpy stage isn't really their forte though so maybe it's just a blip. Let's hope they do a bit better than that as it goes on! Storer losing no time is all we really needed from him.

16th for Hodeg is pretty abysmal, just not in position at any point. Worrying for sure, but maybe just a blip ..? Good thing that Tesfatsion remained in the front group at least. Some significant casualties from the second tier of contenders there with Lagane, Bystrom, Bettiol, Masnanda and Watson among others. Definitely unexpected, and very unfortunate for them.
For tomorrow, I'm hoping for a breakaway appearance at least, and then we'll see what Tesfatsion and/or Stedman can do in the finale.
Congrats lief on the strong start for Demare, and thanks for the report kb!

A positive that Zegklis managed to snatch the KoM jersey, but the sprint was a bit worrying. We do not have a proper lead-out for Abdul Halil and that seems to have been an issue as he got a lead-out anyway.
Big win for Demare, and he might keep the jersey from here on out. Excited to see what Gesbert can do on the next stage, however.

Very happy to see our jersey represented in the breakaway, hopefully some more good showings to come for the Ethiopian turtles in the rest of the race

Solid start kept Moscon towards the front and quite a few B-Favs got dropped can't complain
Congrats to Demare on the win |

Very happy to see Willwohl performing extremely well so far! Thanks for the report kb
The less said about our GC hopes going out the door for Bettiol, Blouwe and Hermans the better

Congrats to lief for the win and thanks to kb for the report.
Bol was in a decent position but his lower acc meant he did not keep up. A top 10 isn't bad.
Bol was lead out by Rumac, might have been better if he had to surf the wheels.
Masnada the wrong side of the split so our GC chances are gone. Interesting that Rumac has the number 1 jersey, maybe the game thinks he could hold on to a GC spot, fingers crossed.

False start for Kamberaj, but at least Van Niekerk made the front group.
Thanks for the report and congrats lief!

Congrats on the win lief!
Good to see Stannard attentive and even Oshri protecting him. Tomorrow should be more spicy.

An excellent start from Démare! He really needed that after his disastrous outing last year. Thanks for all the congratulations guys. Hopefully that form continues into the hilly stages as well.
It is also excellent to see that all the investment into our sprint train was worthwhile. Thanks for the report KB, it was great but if you could give slightly more information about the makeup of the trains that would be fantastic (for my future planning ). I'm hoping it was Honoré » Iversen » Stocker » Huertas » Démare, but it would be great to confirm. Either way, it looks like they did an excellent job with Démare being dropped off with a lead of several lengths and Huertas even sneaking into the Top 10.

Mudgway dropped but Kelderman and his support stayed in the first group which is more important to me!
Demare starting off with a bang. Kind of worrying considering he is solid in the hills.
Great report KB!

Poor positioning from us into the final climb means we couldn't play a role in the final. Good to have all of Gesbert, Morin and Boswell in the first group, though.
Huge stage for Bianchi!

Congrats jt! I feel everything is going your way at the moment with another great result here from Korosec and Rota! If this continue you will run away with the division, huuuuuge start to the season!
(I would like to point out that I put Rota as one of the steals of the transfer season)

Tesfatsion again in the first group, which is good. But his positioning seems to have been pretty poor throughout the final climb and with worse luck, he could've well been distanced. So, I'm not super optimistic for the next days. But we'll see. Hoping for a breakaway appearance, too.
Congrats to Bianchi on a fantastic stage! And thanks for the report

Brilliant from Bianchi. Attacking with Moscon and then delivering a 1-2 with Korosec and Rota. Fantastic, congrats!
Stannard again up there in 6th is all we can ask for atm.
Thanks for the reports!

Hirschi kept his powder dry and just followed along to be best rider without bonus seconds, hopefully he can make a move and get some of them himself on future stages.
Congrats to Bianchi on the 1-2, massive stage for you there.
