Disappointing start from Ahlstrand. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come...

Good start! A win was close but looking at the big picture this race is like a 5-races long F1 season for sprinters with a final epilogue, you mainly have to score top 3/5 results to really have a chance to get that overall win. Every podium result here is therefore a good result.
Thanks for the report, UU!

7th is a solid result for AKA, especially considering the names behind him. Also like seeing Resell in the breakaway two days in a row. With the PT points scale, he may just rack up enough bonus seconds to get a meaningful minor placing if he makes another appearance or two before the end of the race.
Thanks for the report!

Expectedly nothing to see from my team on the first two stages. Hope is still out for some kind of random split or so - at least Kurianov was well positioned in the final.
Coquard failing badly hurts to see

Grosu not as good as yesterday, but it's good to see he was still in the mix, especially looking at what is happening with Ewan and Coquard.
Great to see the team defending the yellow jersey, but Pedersen shouldn't be chasing breakaways and Van Der Kooij shouldn't be sprint sprinting for last place.

What a beast win by Gaviria! Excellent leadout, but still a long way to go when he launched. Very, very strong to hold on and get the win. Congratulations, Roman!
No action for us, which is fine. Fingers crossed we can join a breakaway or two in the upcoming flat stages. That could be a way to get a decent shot at some minor GC placings. |

3rd is a great result from Jakosen after not cracking the Top 10 on the opening stage!
Doubt we'll be able to snag a Top GC spot here but really hoping Jakobsen can keep some consistency for the rest of the race!

Would of course had liked to see Larsen sprinting here, but not a big surprise that he hasn't been in the mixed. At least good to see us snatching some bonus seconds that could be valuable in the end and Wærenskjold high up in the U25s.
Congrats on the win, Roman!

Reasonable start from Kemboi here, though it looks like this is a race for 2nd behind Gaviria. 15-20 seconds should be possible to make up on most other sprinters in the epilogue, so keeping the gap to 2nd down to that level has to be the target. |

Good to see Schreurs in the break, getting us both screen time and some minor bonifications, too. This should be our goal for every road stage here!

AKA way out of it, and Resell does all that work just to get dropped from the pack. I know we couldn't expect much in this field, but the vibes just feel like it's gonna be a long season already.

Back into 6th place is much more like it
If Enger can get around 10 more bonus seconds in the next two stages that should put him in a good spot for the epilogue.

Hopefully this will be Grosu's only miss this race. The GC looks quite tight at the moment so he definitely needs some of the big bonus seconds to secure a top spot in the GC.

Sending all our mediocre sprinters seems to block Kragh's chances of placing high on the stages, which might be problematic come the final epilogue. Happy to see Potts go for the breakaway, unfortunate to drop from the peloton after being caught. |
