Anyone else with a partly very very slow Daily website these days? Or is it just me for some weird reasons?
Home page is fine but it took multiple attempts to open this thread or the report

Yeah, the website is not loading fast at all.
Things looking worse now, hopefully Kudus got his bad day now. Still has a chance to get back into the lead.

After Stage 2 I was kind of disappointed.
Yes, Wellens rode a fine race there and was strong but Olivier and Carboni really were poor result wise.
Obviously can`t expect a strong 2nd leader or even 3rd leader to perform as strong in comparison to a main leader but the time loss of mainly Olivier was really poor in the end.
Stage 3 though then turned it all around. Wellens again with a strong day, this time heavily supported by both Olivier and Carboni. First even able to make many other riders struggle and then hold on to improve GC wise as well. And most important took care of Wellens to save all energy till the very end.
Great team and individual performance there and exactly what I had hoped for when sending such strong trio. Can only hope to repeat such performance on the other 2 mountain stages. |

Good race from Schelling so far. Rodriguez, invisible once again.

Finally managed to get in to comment
Goal race for Kraftwerk, Gennadiy Tatarinov won KOM last year and we are backing him to repeat. He got off to a good start in the break on S2.
Great ride from Arndt in stage 2 for a 2nd place backed up by teammates putting Kraftwerk 1st in Teams.
Two in the break on stage 3 meant we hung on to our teams place but holding off Aegon - Peroni is going to be a struggle, will be happy with 2nd in Teams at the end.
Thanks for the reports red and sorry for lack of comments, hopefully site access will improve.

I blame the Colombian fans on not blocking the other riders

Nice to see some break involvement from the guys on S3! Stage 1 was a disaster I had eyed a potential green jersey here for Kennaugh and with his stage win he ends up at least 2 points behind that target sadly. Thanks for the reports!

Sorry have been busy, so haven't commented so far...
Minali with an ok result on Stage 1. Was hoping for better than 8th.
Choi with great results on Stages 2 and 3, sitting in a fantastic 4th place in the GC. Hoping for more of the same on the last two stages. Was hoping for a bit better from Eenkhoorn though. Nice to see loaned out Schelling doing well for Huski at the moment.
Minali doesn't show up for yet another sprint on Stage 4!
Thanks for all the reports so far red and congrats to the winners

Decent stage for us. Wellens with the best defending his GC and Olivier strong again climbing up to 8th.
It feels like Wellens should have waited and let Olivier keep a high pace instead as then the break could have been caught I think. Then again this way no bonus seconds were given to rivals, which is GC wise probably more important.
Also Carboni did well to neutralize the first attack.
Feels like my team is ruining it a bit for others as the race could see a lot more selection without Carboni/Olivier pacing till the final.
A rare mountain train from my team, which couldn`t be seen a lot if at all in the 10 years of team existence really. |

Did expect something more from this stage (as for crucial moves), but from our team's point of view, it went quite well after all. Haig attentive and again in the front group of GC contenders. A pity to give stage points to a breakaway, but I guess this may happen in the final stage as well.

Another excellent stage, hopefully we can defend that 4th place tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

What a win that could have been for van der Kooij. Schelling continuing his adventure.

Thought this stage was going to be a GC favourite stage and that stage 6 was going to be breakaway one. Very happy with the 3rd place from The Boss who has his annual early season top 3. GC wise Elissonde tanking from 20th to 32nd is far from ideal but maybe it frees him up to try an attack tomorrow! Thanks for the report!

New recruit Destribois in the break again but sadly for our goal he didn't go for the KOM points. 5th on the stage and backed up by Arndt & Tatarinov improved our lead in the Teams competition.
Keeping 3 in the top 25 GC would be a great result.
Thanks for the report red.

Disappointing to lose a GC spot today but Choi is still in a great position. Nice to have 3rd and 4th in U25 also.
