This was the scenario I feared when we let go of Lampaert. He might have been there to bridge the gap for Stallaert. Given the riders ahead, Stallaert arguably should have been there in the first place, but I suppose you have to grant him an off day here and there, especially after the spectacular start to the season.

Congrats tsmoha, really great start to the season for Amaysim all around from what I can tell. And of course thanks for the great report Smile

Well that didn't work. Can't control who attacks from long range. Maybe Van Asbroeck could've done something in the sprint if he hadn't but then again he might not have stayed in the lead group anyway. Some points but was definitely hoping for more.

Great race for all 3 of Kraftwerk's small cobbles squad. De Buyst tried a long ranger, Zhupa initiated the winning move and sprinted to a fantastic 6th place and Walsleben finished a creditable 26th.
