I think Katrašnik and Dzamastagic will defenetly go into attack but I just hope that Vanbilsen can go with them and follow them as Selig won't have any chance in a sprint.
Thanks for preview.

So excited for the season start
Hope Houle can get a result be it from the pack or from an attack, know he can do both. Really excited to see how he'll be in flat classics after Rowe got to do most of them in the last few years ahead of him. Sad not to see Rowe here as the flat classics are his best type of race - hope it's not a sign of the whole season

Wow, a CT wildcard takes the first HC race of the year! Huge congrats to Adler!
I couldn't be happier with our start to the season, that's for sure! AKA picked up right where he left off with the strategy and result. He just stayed in the right place, got a good spot in the sprint line, and bided his time. 3rd place is phenomenal and just what we needed to start the year right. Sprint classics can always be boom or bust, and I'm very happy to have come away with a podium.
Also, awesome to see Belevics attack in his first maxed race and even hang on to take a few points home with 29th. Hope to see more of that throughout the season.
Thanks for an awesome report to start the season Ulrich!

That is an interesting winner for sure.
If Saber is can even show half of what he has done here, his season should be pretty solid, which is always good for a new CT manager putting trust into him.
Weird to only have 1 sprint train really as you would expect minimum 2 or often 3 in especially when catching the break early enough. |

Wow ! That's how to start your first day ....well done Adler.
Glanbia quite happy with 11th given the competition, clever riding from Bennett

Wowa wiwa! I couldn’t have dreamt for a better start to our debut season! I was pretty stressed out about this race. Our commitment to Saber has put a lot of pressure on him. And with the way sprints go i was fearing the worst. I would have taken a top 10 finish as a succesful start to the season. But to go and win an HC race!
Like Roturn said, if Saber is worth half what he was today in the rest of the season it would be a successful year. Absolute perfect positioning from our Sultan of Sprint today! To be able to beat tough competition like that in a bunch sprint is bonkers. Makes me look even more like a fool for not uploading his NC yet!
Admittedly I was having a hard time being active here on the forum because of private reasons. But my day couldn’t have started better! I’m just happy to be here. Thank you guys, and especially Ulrich for the report!
Cheers

Congrats to KaiserAdler, what a start!
Cool to see Plapp in the early break and also nice to see Dzamastagic at least trying a small move in the end even if he had to give up quickly.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Not quite an awesome start but it'll do. Gives me hope Vesely will be there more often than last season.
Congrats Colombini, what an entrance! Thanks UU for the report!

Huge congrats Adler! Absolutely massive way to start your MG journey. Enjoy it!
Strange to see only the one train, and said train failed to deliver any meaningful result for Zabel. AKA back to his usual self good to see too.

First thanks for the nice preview and report!
Then congrats on Adler for this marvelous start with the team!
I didnt have high expecations anyway but I am a bit dissapointed we couldnt get Willwohl into a position he could fight for a Top 20 finish. The race of Plapp on the other side I am happy about and he could show our colors. Now first steps are made with the team and lets see what comes next!

Saber, nice! That's what he learned, when he was with us/Oz back in the time.
Anonymous race from us, which is a bummer when riding in front of home crowd. Would have hoped for an attack, but at least we somehow placed two riders down the Top-25. Obviously couldn't really expect much more, unless a (late) breakaway appearance.

Different first sprint than I expected, but great race to watch. I wouldn't have guessed Kraftwerk setting the train, but they decently did very well doing so. Awesome to see Saber win, highest ovl CT rider showing his class in his first race.

Not a good result to start with but it wasn't completely unexpected given the number of sprinters present and how PCM handles them. It can only get better from here.
Great to see Saber winning again after two difficult seasons. Congrats to Colombini and thanks for the report!

Thanks for a great report and congratulations to Adler!
Nice to see that Kennaugh still has it, would have preferred the win obviously but solid start to the season with Dzama picking up some lower tier points as well!
Incredibly happy to have racing underway!

Houle with the standard 6-9th place finish we normally get in these classics if we just try and do a straight sprint, which is fine of course. Also have I ever mentioned that I love Jams? Because I do, nice points for him.
Big fan of that win, Saber is quality, I think I wrote already in their HQ he should be a CT-killer (or maybe I'm thinking of when I was trying to sell Rowe, who is very similar so I can claim that) and delivering hugely for Colombini in their first ever race, what a special moment, enjoy Kaiser
