The Eiking bump was expected. I kind of handled that one a bit wrong, being a bit to aggressive to begin with. But, he is our cornerstone. So he gets what he needs basicly..
Appo gave us a lot, sad to see him go. But what he demanded did not reflect his abilites..
FA and Transfers next. GL lads

Salinas on the FA market? Interesting...
Good luck with your first PCT transfers, interested to see who you go for! Sure I have some ideas...

Salinas can see the end of a long career coming, and wanted to cash in a bit too much...

I think you've got a pretty decent core, but definitely need to add some leaders. Eiking should be good for PCT, but you're obviously lacking a top-notch rider everywhere else. Roson and Waersted surely are OK for smaller races, but without training will have a hard time in PTHC or even HC.
But I'm sure you'll find some good "assets" to complement your roster - and if you stay up, the future looks definitely bright with riders like van Moer, van Poucke, Knotten and Rojus about to max out!

Eiking and Boswell remain connected. I went too aggressive with Boswell because I misread his current salary and he ended up at 260k which I thought was high, although better than 290k. But you are one of those rich PCT teams now so you can afford the extra .
Good luck with transfers, will be routing for you in the PCT.

I guess the availability list may have been impacted by a couple of new teams, but I might still enter the competition for at least one of these riders, even thoug I don't have a new team

Transfers Transfer is coming to a close, and we closed a few deals. Although we had several others lined up, they did not come to be. Either way, here they are. Allmost all of them, the 2022 edition of Gjensidige Pro Cycling Team. A bigger presentation will come later, when it's all said and done.

Not incredibly top-heavy, but have to admire the depth you’ve amassed here - it looks like you’ve built a pretty competitive team for the season.
Also very jealous of the Enger signing, would have loved him on my team if I could have flogged Howard. Reckon he’ll do really well this year.

Gregory Daniel going from being your 2nd to your 10th best rider shows the impressive work you've done. Going for a depth approach when many seem to build top heavy could be risky, but if your 2nd tier riders deliver somewhat consistently, I think you've given yourself a good chance at staying up!

Really strange to see Kritskiy in another team than Tinkoff
Otherwise, Enger, Stake Laengen and Lunke are some really great signings for your team, congrats on signing them!
Looking at PCT, your team won't be the strongest on any terrain, but you have a lot more depth than I did last year. Let's see if it's enough to carry you - at least you can count on a nice TTT setup, which I didn't have last year, either, and still only narrowly missed out on staying up.
I hope that your 77 sprinters will be allowed to participate more often than not by PCM, but Enger definitely should be in the mix. We both share our cobbles aversion, so I can imagine what your calendar might look like
Good luck for the season!

@Fabianski: True, very true. Kritskiy was our plan b, but don't tell him that
Yeah, tried to keep a national focus this time around. And we might do more of that next year aswell. Depending on how the season goes.
I hope we can score tons of depth points, as we have more of that then top end talent.
Same to you sir

Interesting to see how the depth approach plays out - not the classic recommended strategy for trying to secure survival, but you haven't done it badly and without seeing other teams I wouldn't write you off surviving just yet, especially if Kritskiy still knows how to turn it on.

Always especially satisfying to see a leader sign with a home team, in this case Enger. I hope AKA dominates him all year in head to head matchups, but besides that, we wish him luck.
I think Kittel could be sneaky good this year for you. A ton of time trialists either promoted with their teams to PT this year or transferred there. So even despite his decline, he's one of the best in the division, flying under the radar.
