Well I doubt youll be able to make 1'30, 30m seconds plus bonus seconds should lift your overall position. Anyway, Haussler is a better sprinter than Hammond so he'd not lose as much in the sprint.

my PCM06 experience tells me the early (notice: early) break ALWAYS makes it in that stage (the stage profile is the same).
in PCM07, though, I haven't seen many breaks succed. but I haven't played that stage yet.

Yes the tension is rising because i need to make it because the sponsors are average. I may go with an early break and put a young rider in it just to soften up the peloton.

In the Vuelta a Murcia in the start of March there is a Mountain-TT.. When i'm selecting equipment for my riders, i can't select TT equipment (Even though i wouldn't) Is this a bug or is this the way is supossed to be on mountain-TT?

So, in general, do people feel that a career is worth playing? Okay, we might need a better database, but except for that? |

I think the better question is is it worth buying? How much better is it than 06
Well, that's my very selfish view, as I probably won't buy the game this year, and just want a general confirmation of this.
If you feel this is to selfish, please PM me your complaint, and I'll send you a full written apology

depends. stamina stats are very weak for everyone that isn't a classics contender. that even includes Sastre. meaning...breaks never make it unless it's a stage race in a stage right after mountains...and guys with low stamina (Sastre) can't compete in Grand Tours.
as for non-DB related issues, it's worth it. I've just started a FDJ one
what really irritates me is:
I love making custom tours out of the fictitious future grand tours that are included and then playing them. I do that from their .xml files. unfortunately a lot of things are wrong with those. flat stages considered as mountain. the "mountain to hill" attribute switched (1 for flat stages and zero for mountains when it should be the other way round).
especially the 2010 Vuelta is COMPLETELY screwed up. I should post this on the cyanide forum under bugs, but they'd ignore me...

Yes stamina needs to be edited, is there a personal editor out?
But the game on the whole is class. Tommorow will be my last serious day of playing as the exitement for the game wears off. but on the whole the game has been class and ill continue to do the three grand tours.

then tell them this: my brother was GLUED to the game when he first got it. as in GLUED. ADDICTED. he NEVER. ever. not once. saw a break make it. I haven't either. (days after mountain stages excepted, as referred above)

Well tell them to put stamina up a bit so its possible to win with a break away. and add Egypt, Florence and Venazuela on the scouting page.

Thanks. Maybe you could ask them to put a danish team in instead of Ergomo, maybe for a team in Greve

I'm really not sure. The training is really off. I started a new career with Cofidis this past weekend and the date now is February 1, 2007. I have Sutton working with a mythical trainer and he's at 75% (i.e. training for better stats). As of Feb 1st, his recovery is up over 60%! And his cobblestones skills is up 40%. The stats are increasing too fast, a problem that plagued PCM 2006 until the second patch. This is really disappointing to me: I can understand if the game plays poorly due to all the graphical improvements they've made. But this stats problem existed in the previous version of the game. they fixed it then but now they seem to have forgotten their fix! |
