It’s getting really annoying with a result like that I also could’ve sent Leung to Copenhagen. I just don’t understand why he keeps performing so poor for me. When he was on loan with Porto two seasons ago he even won two PT prologues but in the two seasons that he is maxed he just never delivers. It’s consistent with the rest of the performances by my team. My team ID must be cursed or something. |

Hoped for the victory but 2-4 is still very good. Lopez also had a pretty good day, losing little time on other leaders and its great to already be in the lead in the team classification!

When you try me with a sorry prolog specialist like Schomber, that is the result you are going to get. Don't you ever talk about me! Don't you open your mouth about the best, or y'know I'm gonna shut it for you real quick!

Good start for Oomen, too bad about the u25 jersey though.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I was looking at the Copenhagen-Malmo TTT startlist and I was struggling to figure out why would I let my best time - trialist out of it. And then I remember I sent him here hoping for a win in the last stage. But winning the prologue is even better

Congrats alex!
Quite irrelevant stage for the GC but it's always nine to start well.

This was a serious punt from us, Squire as the team leader... Looking for some breakaway chances and hopefully can make one of them stick well enough for a decent GC placing as the contenders really won't look at us to be any kind of threat.

Good riding from our guys today, breakaway stuff, and our youngster Tiavani at least giving effort. Happy with the job.
AbhishekLFC ... Get used to Destrobois, I reported a lot of races with him last year, he will be on the front from Start to Finish every race, doesn't matter the profile. Sadly not seeing him in his NC jersey this year.

Hope those guys that attacked and/or sprinted used up some energy that won't get replenished, but another flat day makes that unlikely

Well that was a boring stage from our perspective. I want to see us in the breakways from now on!

Steimle making that front group is amazing!
A promising sign for his durability once maxed, and he's just one U25 position away from scoring a point for Podium Ambition.
Obviously I would've preferred PCT teams to win the first two stages, but congratulations to eBuddy and Generali there.
I do spot some minor GC guys in later groups, surely not ideal for those.

Love how Lopez used that hill as a jump board for an attack and ended up finishing 4th despite the previous effort. I probably would have preferred to see the same attack by Dzamastagic but it was a good opportunity tp try sth and gives him better chances to win points/KoM classification. Tvetcov and both prolog specialist caught behind that split is bad news and reduces the depth points i can extract from this race.

Great to see Masnada pushing hard for Theuns, who finally won the stage Congrats, matt!
So, Pluchkin is now riding for Podium Ambition? I guess that's the last team that would sign him
Thanks for a great report anyway, Abhi!

Useless stage as I thought, gibe more, or give Dzervus a nice TRT injection

Nothing happening but moving up in the GC and we take the white jersey. We need more stages like this!
And of course congratulations to our former rider Edward Theuns!

Pluchkin has a history to race on cobbles so if Altur needs more support, he could make sense...

Great winner in Theuns on such stage. Only other would have been Ackermann but unfortunately it kind of proves that his stats would be perfect as controlled rider but always missing a bit for AI controlled. In especially when having a stronger leader with him.
He really might need some proper training before coming even close of a good scorer I guess.
Nelson and Cabrera have it a nice challenge on the tough finish. |

Nelson winning a stage like that, with a Lopez group clear late on, would have been quite something.

Disappointing not only to lose the yellow jersey, but not have any rider in the leading group.

Good to see Kudus following Lopez attack in that climb, even ending taking some points in the finish line with 8th place
