No excuses for this race. As it used to be, a win goal for Bennelong and for good reasons, I guess. Bobridge needs to bounce back from a disappointing first race of the season, as I don't believe that Dennis will once again save his a** in this one. Obviously, the new MO importance is a concerne for Bobridge this year, but there's plenty of chances to shine anyway. I think.. The squad is pretty much filled with everyone, who provides the best support and allround package, so don't disappoint me here, where we finally won the GC last year.

This is a good point! That one was 50% longer though, and while I would likely stand to benefit from such AI, I hope it won't become as big of an issue here.

Yeah, hopefully the lesser length plays a part, but 2 mins was enough in that race. To be clear my issue wasn't that losing that amount of time puts your leader out of GC contention, I'm fine with that.
It's the fact that riders who are legitimate stage favourites attack from the start instead of going for a late attack, which is far more sensible when trying to go for a stage win.

No Kelderman here, in anticipation of the TTs and the usual strong startlist. Hoping to see some breakaway action and maybe someone going for the KOM crown as well.

With 6 unmaxed, including two lvl 1 riders as part of my TTT setup, I'm always impressed when they manage to outperform or perform on par with the predictions
Beltran won't really have any help in the hilly stages that follow, so it's up to him to ride a smart race. The young lads might have a chance to enter some breakaways I hope.
Congrats on the win Matt

Pretty decent results, not perfect but none of the trident lost time (exept for a few seconds but Dowsett was in front). Let's see, it's a positive sign, perhaps GC is possible after all.

It wasn't a disaster, but I have no idea why we lost that much in the first sector, those seconds cost us a podium finish.
I can't be happy that Vasyliv randomly was 7th across the line and lost 5s either. That likely won't matter for the final GC, but every place further up the order after today would mean better AI treatment for tomorrow.

Solid. Had hoped for a podium, but the team apparently did just enough to finish, where it could be expected to finish. And now for Top-5's (at least), please..

Second is a good result. We gained some valuable time on a couple of riders.
Amazingly detailed TTT report; well done!

Thanks for the amazing preview and TTT-report!
Surely the Europcar-performance can only get better from here, haha.
Hoping Calmejane can do wonders in breakaways |

Suprised to see Beltran taking 3rd in a sprint, but I won't complain
Congrats on the win Roman

Phelan active again, but lame stage eventually. Bobridge needs better results than this.

Cerny really needs to do something in these kinds of stages. WVA as best finisher is a joke.

Great to see Kraftwerk's improved TTT squad getting a top 10 finish and seeing Flugel so active. Hope he can repeat when it makes a difference.

Well now I'm tired again...
This would've been perfect for Hadi if the game cared to cater for more than one fast guy in such a sprint.
Good to see Vasyliv at the front though, and any stage without gaps benefits him. I don't expect things to play out similarly tomorrow though.

Not bad so far. PCM 18 AI and RDC its important to start races strong so its a good sign for Kinoshita that he's only a minute down and took 6th on stage 2.
