When I started my team in 2014, pretty much the only thing I knew was that I wanted a great cobbles squad. With little understanding of the market, that led me to splurge on Niki Ostergaard, far above his actual points worth. The next year, I was rewarded with a new home race - the cobbled GP Herning. Suited perfectly for my team philosophy and region. Every year I made it a priority to win this race. First with Niki, then Boonen, then Nolf, then Vanspeybrouck. Most years it was a win goal. Every year, I failed, sometimes by just a couple of places, sometimes by catastrophic collapses.
When it dropped down this year, I knew I still had to do it. It's my home race and it encompasses my team. The restrictions obviously meant I couldn't bring my full cobbles squad. Instead, it would be mostly a dev race. But I was okay with that.
It's impossible to properly describe how much this win means to me as a team, finally conquering our home race against all the odds. But it's even more difficult to describe how special it is for Niki to have gotten this win. He was our flagship rider 6 seasons ago, and has stuck through a lot of pain on this team. One thing he never did was win a cobbles race, and as the competition mounted and he fell into a subordinate role, that seemed very unlikely to change.
For Niki to be the one to win this race, after everything... it's just so special. It's the best win in team history. It is everything we've striven towards and wanted for so long. One thing he has always done when he could, is attack. And he fought so hard today, getting dropped and cracking, but somehow fighting to the finish, despite not having a single domestique along the way. He has earned himself a contract for eternity.
This is a season defining win. This is a franchise defining win. Even if we relegate this year, I can look back on this day and say it was all a success because Niki Ostergaard did us proud in Herning.

Geraint sends his massive congratulations! If anyone was the take over the GP Herning title we wanted it to be Carlsberg, hopefully you can now start to dominate the event as G has!
Actually forgot, that we were participating here. One guy trying to join the early break and one guy finishing 30th eventually. Obviously not a stellar performance, but not too shabby for Jayco.

A decent race from our perspective and I'm sure we got some points out of it (or maybe only 1?) which is a bonus as we were only expecting to gain xp from this one.
Completely missed the preview for this when travelling yesterday! Great report to read and so happy seeing Jacobs take a podium spot at the end of it all. Gives me some hopes for other cobbles races with him over this season. This is points were I expected very little.

A very disappointing result for Maes, coming in as one of the main favourites with the sponsors demanding a win, only to finish in the bottom half of the Top 10. After his success in Australia, we did have hope that he might succeed in the most difficult task we had appointed him, and his failure certainly brings the mood down for the team, especially with our hopes pinned to the cobbles this year.
As a side note, what's happening with the Tryg Cycling jerseys? They were fine in the January races, but both here and in the Tour de Langkawi they have been replaced with a red & grey strip that I don't recognise.

Due to an incorrect upload size, they have been defaulted to the Cyanide jersey. I had the issue with Gent-Wevelgem, but noticed before it was raced.
The jersey has been uploaded as 1200x825 when it should be 1200x826.
I'm guessing it was corrected in the January races but if someone has the files only for February, then it will be wrong.

So I should adjust that and reupload it?
Must be me having some wrong files, but just dont know what I'm missing ?? and where to get the right ones ?
The only change must be this update compared to Langkawi
