Not the best game ever. What to take from it?
Messi is fantastic. Anything we didn't know? Not really.
Real was ineffective in their last passes and in their finishing. The last pass did however become slightly more efficiant after Guti came in. No real surprise there. He should really play more often imo...
The offside trap failed miserably and had Messi had an Arsenal game, he would've scored 3 identical goals.

Anyone else watching El Clasico at the moment? I could slap Victor Valdes in the face for that stupid pass, but at least Barca stroke back. I hope they can turn the whole thing around.

Strange that Real had over 25 fouls and barca only 10? the referee always stopped the play for a real foul and when barca makes one he doesn't stop. Also going to your pocket to send Messi of and then thinking: Oh wait i can't send messi of isn't it?.
also Ronaldo had a terrible game. Coentrao was good but made critical mistake at cesc's goal.

It isn't Liga, but Mirandés a 2º Division B Team is in Copa del Rey Semifinals, it's historical because with Spanish cup format it's so difficult to small teams get away in this competition and It's the first team to get it |

Just posted that in the EPL topic, didn't remember there was a topic about la Liga. I'm sorry if there's any Espanyol fan around here, but it was incredibly awesome.
However, I'm not sure if they are the first 2ªB to make it to the semifinals, I think Numancia did it before?
