Fricking hell. Appo was in perfect position and still gets beaten. Another waste of race days.
And of course, Garby just sits up cause why the hell not. He's lucky I never have GC ambitions for him anymore or I'd be really pissed.

Well that's one of the more unusual sprint trains. Climber leading out young TT talent leading out our sprinter. Great to see Moser managing to get the win after his disappointing no show in the previous stage. Now time for Nazaret to show what he's capable of.

Kinda sad that Boivin had such a no show today, but overall the stage win is still more than enough for him here. Also nice to see Pellaud test his legs before the next stage.

Manfredi's time loss was to be expected, but it sets him up for a great attack tomorrow. Hope he will at least try to do so. |

Nice top 5 for DLC, hopefully it will turn into a GC top 5 tomorrow!

Garby tried, so that's... something? Doesn't help us in the relegation fight. I suppose hill was pretty important despite the profile because of the categorization, so maybe his aggressiveness will continue tomorrow and amount to something.
Also, wtf Contador. Screw off. Trash piece of crap couldn't get a top 50 last year and now he's a breakaway god after the worst decline possible. FML
Only saving grace is that Appo has the points jersey. If he doesn't abandon, he has a chance to take it, but only if Kiserlovski drops off a bit and Kwiatek doesn't podium, and none of those are probable.

Will have to hope Choi can get lost of time on the hillier suited guys in the mountains. Shikai probably doesn't have any GC ambitions now.

Doesn't count since Kiserlovski is not Andorran

Man this has been a great race for us, results from Keogh and now from Squire! Perhaps I've just have the wrong team leaders.

Sorry guys for the big delay, but i said in the reports, the report of this stage had to be written by me, as for S5 and S6 tsmoha gave me the "raw" screenshots and while it doesn't take too long to actually write, i didn't have a lot of time to do since he send that to me

No worries, it's already a pleasure to have such good reports, feel no pressure
Well, I thought karma would hit Kiserlovski in the face today and he'd loose the race. Well in a way he did, he lost the lead, but what a ride, and what a stage! Epic mountain destruction, Roglic above everyone but Kiserlovski was there, he was there, made it to the groups, rode strong and finished with the group, keeping his podium place. I can't ask for more, seeing Warbasse supporting him like that and still keeping 13th is also a major pleasure.

Thanks for finishing this race off for me (s6 still to come, of course). That's been some huge effort with tons of screenshots and the race itself not actually been run by yourself. Kudos for this this!

Welp, I'm glad Garby decided to waste his energy on the hill stage and do absolutely nothing today. It would be a travesty to do anything different. And wow, he even finished worse than my prediction!
Only good news is that Appo is still in the points lead, and that comes to an end tomorrow. It's reasonable he might not even top 5 in that ranking by the end of the race. Figures.

Great ride by Shikai! Would have been nice to take the GC lead, but I reckon he would have lost it to Roglic on the final stage anyways. Still 2nd in the GC should be the result if all goes well and Choi may be able to move up a little too. Still great ride from Shikai, having 2 GC guys seems to have paid off again, as one keeps the decent placing and the one further down is free to attack and gain back time and move up onto the podium again.

Brutal stage and have to question why the favourites would let a couple of strong climbers go in the breakaway. But I’m obviously happy with the performance there from Nazaret who should hold onto a 6th or 7th in the GC and will get third in the KOM. Borisavljevic also with a pretty solid performance and should be looking at a Top 20 in the GC as well as 2nd in the Youth classification. Just hope nothing goes horribly wrong in the final stage and maybe Cornu will get a decent stage result.

More than satisfied with this race, Kiserlovski put a hell of a performance and Warbasse complementing, truly awesome!

Awesome! Thanks for finishing this one Aquarius! Really appreciate it. I know how hard it is to write a report without having played the race.
Very happy with the finish. Although we do nothing GC wise and Steensen is outside the top 20, the pure TTists having the day means that Appo takes the points jersey! Very happy with that result considering our failure in other categories. Nice to salvage something. Boy, was it close though!

Ah, I guess I forgot that Shikai has a better Prologue stat than Roglic in my last post, and that the final was also a prologue rather than a TT. So very happy to win, as I was kind of accepting a 2nd here!
Thanks a lot for the reports!

It was nice to get the stage podium at the end there, especially as we haven't had the most successful home race until now.
