Really? I feel like this was all but a good decision really as it's 10rd with very, very small scoring.
Meh, chasing that stage win. Where should he have been sent instead then?
Not sure as I don't know his schedule but something more hilly I think would have suited him well. |

@roturn: Rookie mistake maybe then. I might have planned him wrong for the entire season, time will tell

A fitness race for us, 1 point would be a huge surplus.

The most surprise course of the race I could imagine. Random and small breakaway, really strong wind and peloton which decided to not chase at all when you should think they are almost catching them. I think it was a solidarity with all riders that were behind due a crosswinds
Congrats to the winner! |

Now that was just plain terrible racing.
Horrible AI and a very bad result for us with Liepins all gone and Manninen on 18th.

GORR continues to throw out odd results, sure in other recent years similar breakaways have been successful, even in such strong wind conditions. Such a shame Guarini wasn't sprinting for the victory - it would then have been hilarious to see him win with a 30-second gap generated over just 1.5km! .
So congrats to Oberfranken on winning today's MG lottery event! WCC personnel were glad to see our now ex-rider Quintero secure a decent placing (also to Oberfranken's benefit ).

A lucky shot but congratz to st_john nonetheless he's having a great start to the season, and thanks tsmoha for the great report!
I can't be disapointed with Kireva on 12th, brilliant result seeing he is actually the team's top sprinter, like last year we benefited from the heavy wind and it's great to gain points in a flat race.

Disappointed that we couldn't control the race and get a bunch sprint, but at least we can take a few positives home from this race; Guarnieri shows that he's in a league of his own in tough conditions like this and Breen remedies some of the lost points with his nice 9th place.
Congrats to st_john and thanks to tsmoha for the report. Loving the pace of the ManGame right now!

Surprised that Aregger didn't stay in the front group, I thought bringing him here would give me a second option for the sprint that could survive better than Salleh but I'm guessing that seeing as he was part of the leadout train he dropped back with the Malaysian instead of taking over the leaders role.
Hopefully we can have a better time of it in our home race as Langkawi is up next for us.

Wohoo!
Schinnagel was expected to fetch some bottles for the rest of the team. Obviously noone told him the team cars are behind the peleton, not ahead.
So congrats to Oberfranken on winning today's MG lottery event! WCC personnel were glad to see our now ex-rider Quintero secure a decent placing (also to Oberfranken's benefit Wink ).
Yeah, Quintero had a decent first race. Let's see what he can do, when it gets a little bit more hilly. |
