Good job, Aquarius. TTTs are kinda painful to report (aka boring), so you did a good job covering so many (all?) teams in the process.
And
Don't care much about Morton, even though it's not a good sign in terms of his shape/form. But it was to be expected, that he will struggle to follow if our main guys go full-gas to battle for the stage-win. I'm happy they did. Winning TTs is always a good thing and it happened to less in the past two or three years.
O'Shea in the lead is some great spirit from our team. Our longest team member, racing for Jayco since 2012 without any loan deal or something. Certainly never had the big role here, but to credit the leader shirt to him, is some cool stuff. Hope he can keep it until third stage then.

Very exicted to see Phinney and Houle here going to be interesting to see how Phinney is going to do as this is a new race for him to go for.
Not the greatest first stage in the TTT but we are still in striking distance for the harder stages |

Nice report, TTTs are indeed rather dull but you covered them nicely. Strava even worse than Evonik Gratz tsmoha

My 68-68-66-65-62-58 lineup was good enough to limit the losses a bit. Luckily I brought most of my best TTers here.

7th best lineup, 8th on the day. Not much to complain about, especially since we at least avoided dropping our leader...

5th is okay I guess.
Seeing Groenewegen as one of the last I would assume, he was dropped very early.
Now he needs to deliver in the 2 sprint opportunities, otherwise I could have taken an 8th time trialist to potentially attack the stage win/podium. |

Much like expected. I expected 14-15th, but got 17th. Not too much of a problem. We were never a top 10 contender here, when we wanted both Vlatos and Coppel to do the Paris-Nice for the indiviual succes.
Lecuisinier behind can maybe act as a teaser for attacking. Interesting to see all sprinters dropped quite a lot. So no fight for leaders jersey.

Not a bad start with our poor TT squad. Hopefully Hirt and Vesely can bring us something from here.

Well. That didnt go AS planned... good ttt by the team and it could have put Alarcon in a prime position, instead he ends up losing a minute to the guys I handpicked to limit his losses

Only 36 seconds behind tsmoha's TTT machine is better than expected. Quite a lot, actually, which could make for an interesting hilly stage 3, as Guldhammer's sprint and hill stat combination could prove valuable there.
But first over to Holst Enger, at least that's the hope, despite the tricky profile!
Kind of a surprise to see both Jayco and Hugo Boss leave their GC guy behind, especially the latter, as Jayco at least had the stage win to ride for. |

That could have been an aweful lot worse for Pluchkin! I'm rather confident we are still in with quite a big chance at this point.

Nice one by the AI...
Well at least Boom got some KoM points I guess.
Congrats Shonak. At least one of the sprinters won. |

No Evonik rider in the break, that has to change. Siskevicius finishing top ten on the stage is nice and appreciated but doesn't bring me any points.
Congrats to Strava who can celebrate a stage victory away from all other top sprinters.
EDIT: Looking at the full result, there were quite a few rider caught in a split including my GC leader Vosekalns. Any idea when that happened?

Nothing in it for us as expected. Strava really on great early season form, congrats!
Tomorrow could already be a crucial stage with its length and gradients, from PCM experience there's a big risk of a huge time loss with bad positioning or a bad daily form.
I hope our three GC guys are attentive, although I expect Nerz to suffer. Herklotz has to stay with the climbers of his level though.

Kept the GC lead and showed our colors in the sprint scheme. Goal for the day achieved.
Nice win for Strava. Weird result though. If it wasn't for the TTT here, I probably had brought Saber. Looking at the result, I won't be too sad when Saber gets ripped at P-N
The next stage will be crucial for Morton. This can definitely hurt big time. Or the opposite ofc. We all know his ACC probably won't help him in a hilly stage, but I hope he has a good daily form to stay in contention for the Top-10 and the U25 classification at least.

There weren'tt any crashes in the stage if you meant to that. The rhythm was really high from the Cat.3 climb until Morizot was caught. A little gap in the top of the climb due to bad positioning and then no chance to comeback
