CrueTrue

Oh right i might wait for something simple then Smile

Addy291
you might be waiting quite a while if you're waiting for something like the 'official editor'

Smoothie
yeh thats what i was thinking

Addy291
i would give the convertors a try, i didn't understand them at first but i think CrueTrue has explained it fairly well and they are quite a bit easier to use than the Kicker

obviously if you don't like them after you've tried, then you can't just wait for the official editorWink

I´ve tried to install PCM-kicker 07, but just doesn´t work...! I get this error message, trying to run it: "Component ´TABCTL32.OCX´ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"...

PLEASE!!!!:-(

Mix99
When is the "official editor" release??????

CrueTrue
Axelfanden: You will need to download TABCTL31.OCX. Search for it on Google.

Mix99: There's no official editor - or well, there might be, but Cyanide hasn't confirmed that one will come.

Start -> Run -> type in: "regsvr32 filename.OCX"

without the " marks and obviously filename is the name of the file and .ocx the extension

hope it works for you Smile

EDIT: forgot one thing. it should be first placed in the Windows\System32 folder

don't confuse the System and System32 folders

Also, did you remember to install PCM Kicker Lite (for PCM06)?

1. Download PCM Kicker Lite
2. Install it in C:/PCM Kicker
3. Download PCM Kicker New Generation
4. Install it in C:/PCM Kicker

Thx everyone...

At least I have the program working now, but now I can´t open the database?
Telling me that Kicker needs an unpacked file, or something???

Where can I get such one???

are you trying to open the .rar or .zip file?

or did you try the .cdb file?

1. Create a workspace
2. Open an unpacked CDB-file (available here: https://www.traberforum.at/PCM2007_CDB...07_CDB.rar )

My computer can not open that link:-(

"Page can not be found"

How come?

Axelfanden
Okay, I figured out that one myself, but now when trying to open the unpacked DB-file I get: "Path not found"???

Can you help me out here???

Axelfanden
"Run-time error ´76´" in case that could help you figuring out the problem...

CrueTrue
In any case, Axel, it's a really complicated editor only for the advanced users. If I were you I'd wait for something simpler.

Here is how I got Kicker NG to work:
1. Download both Kicker Lite and Kicker NG
2. Install both in this directory c:\PCM Kicker
3. Start up PCM_Kicker_NG.exe
4. Create new Workspace (This is what your database will be called)
5. Copy the .cdb file you wish to edit to the PCM Kicker directory (Must be a unpacked .cdb )
6. Open the .cdb file
7. Press OK
8. Create Access Database
9. Then choose which tables you want to edit and press "Import selected to acces.mdb" or if you want to edit all press "Import all to access.mdb"
10. Press Save on Workspace and edit your Access database which are to be found in .\PCM Kicker\Data\"Name of Workspace"

Hope this will help! Wink
