Welcome back for Season Two and good luck to all participants.
First up, our traveller finds himself in a very green, peaceful looking place but he doesn't know where it is. Can you help him out?
You have until around midday GMT on Wednesday to submit your answer but hopefully we can move a bit quicker than that if possible.
Remember to send me non-satellite images and make it clear to me exactly where you are. Good luck!

Only 4 valid answers so far. Two people are just one kilometre apart. I'm going to assume that nobody else saw the post.

I've seen the post. I just can't decide if my guess is correct enough

Tried to do it but haven't made my mind up, will submit tonight, likely with a guess.

If the traveller is in a peaceful place then who took this picture!

Brewers - Rather than everyone sending images to you: wouldn't you prefer it if people sent the latitude and longitude coordinates? |

Nope. This system is fine and it works so I'll keep it as it is.
13 submissions so far. One clear leader at the moment.

This season kicked off with a tougher challenge than last time, which hopefully means the game won't already be decided. The main clue (and only obvious one) is that these guys drive on the left, which remarkably not everyone noticed. There are other subtle clues like the city skyline behind the trees, the urban park landscape and, most importantly, but very difficult to spot, the weird kerbing. With 14 answers in, let's see what you all said.
| matt17br | Buchholz in der Nordheide, Germany | | MARSUPILAMI | Denver, Colorado, USA | | Marcovdw | Adelaide, Australia | | Bjartne | Adelaide, Australia | | jihardy | Surrey, BC, Canada | | PeterRyder | London, UK | | jseadog1 | Blenheim, New Zealand | | Luxemburger | Leuven, Belgium | | Selwink | Brisbane, Australia | | AbhishekLFC | London, UK | | afirm | Sydney, Australia | | The Rider | Tallinn, Estonia | | trekbmc | Ballarat, Australia | | lakebeach | Kingaroy, Australia |
Five people thought we were in countries that drive on the right, so they're straight out of the running for the correct answer but not necessarily the game. Six people went with Australia, one in New Zealand and two in the British capital. The majority went with urban locations, which was definitely the correct idea. Marcovdw and Bjartne were just one kilometre apart in South Australia's capital, Adelaide, but who was closest to the correct location? Let's see where Brewer was.
Believe it or not but this is a world-famous race track. Much like Lewis Hamilton and co. will do in a little over a week, we started our season at Albert Park, Melbourne, Australia. The exact location was in between turns three and four of the circuit. So, nobody got the correct city but who was closest?
| trekbmc | 113 | | Bjartne | 656 | | Marcovdw | 657 | | afirm | 702 | | Selwink | 1374 | | lakebeach | 1413 | | jseadog1 | 2503 | | jihardy | 13236 | | MARSUPILAMI | 14197 | | The Rider | 15232 | | matt17br | 16188 | | Luxemburger | 16596 | | AbhishekLFC | 16898 | | PeterRyder | 16903 |
Fittingly, it is an Aussie who takes the win. trekbmc's answer was just outside Ballarat in Victoria, giving him a comfortable victory over the two squabbling in downtown Adelaide. afirm continues his record of finishing in the top five every time he enters, with Selwink and lakebeach getting the right country to keep them in the running. jseadog1 finished right behind lakebeach - no change there as they remain glued together.
As for the rest, the only positive is you're all still close together and there are nine more rounds to recover. PeterRyder is just pushed into last at the moment by five small kilometres.
Here's what that means at this very early stage. Remember, this season is twice the length so it means virtually nothing but confidence is always a big help.
| # | Name | Rounds | Wins | Kms | Points | | 1 | trekbmc | 1 | 1 | 113 | 100 | | 2 | Bjartne | 1 | 0 | 656 | 75 | | 3 | Marcovdw | 1 | 0 | 657 | 55 | | 4 | afirm | 1 | 0 | 702 | 40 | | 5 | Selwink | 1 | 0 | 1374 | 30 | | 6 | lakebeach | 1 | 0 | 1413 | 25 | | 7 | jseadog1 | 1 | 0 | 2503 | 20 | | 8 | jihardy | 1 | 0 | 13236 | 16 | | 9 | MARSUPILAMI | 1 | 0 | 14197 | 13 | | 10 | The Rider | 1 | 0 | 15232 | 10 | | 11 | matt17br | 1 | 0 | 16188 | 9 | | 12 | Luxemburger | 1 | 0 | 16596 | 8 | | 13 | AbhishekLFC | 1 | 0 | 16898 | 7 | | 14 | PeterRyder | 1 | 0 | 16903 | 6 |
Round two will start later today and go until the weekend.

I really thought it looked like Australia, but apart from that I had no clue what so ever. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong state but sixth isn't too bad.
Of course the local takes the round.

Damn, considered Albert Park but thought no I couldn't be and decided not to check and guess Adelaide instead
Still on the podium though, that's great!

How? I really didn't expect that, just decided it kinda looked like Ballarat and went there without much thought.
