Thanks for the update! I'm glad to see we moved up from last place. I'm a little confused as to how you guys (Roman and jph) believe that Ayuwoban has a chance to stay up at this point. There are not really that many races remaining and 600 is a sizable gap.
Especially for a team that usually does GC results in the region of 12-18th. Ayubowan! would need to win 2-3 of the remaining races to even stand a chance at staying up.
Im not surprised to be in this spot. Obviously would like to be out of the relegation spots, but with the season we have been having, its no surprise. It will still have been nice to have a year of PT with this team, and it was cool to do so well in the Giro too.
Definitely a decent TdF for us, with Deutschland being a major dissapointment. Still somewhat surprised to see us still be in the mix for a top 5 placing overall, as that felt like the most ambitious goal we had for this season, where we've failed two race goals by a lot.
On paper we should do well in the races left as well, but Boasson Hagen leads our team in three of the eight races left, so I'm not sure
Really hoping we're able to defend that fifth place from teams close behind. And then we could challenge Metinvest for fourth, but the podium should be out of reach with Spilak soon coming into play again.
Incredible look for our team and fans, i have never though we can be a top5 team in the PT,just two months left till the end of the season. Pluchkin was always going to be the deciding thing for our position and he delivered in fantastic fashion, in his only two races, rocketing himself just behind Bewley monster. But he still brings less than a half of our points, so likes of Igantiev, Zmorka, Guardini and cobbled duo are also very important here.
We still have some good races for us left ( TTT, P-KV-P) and some decent ones (TONE, Tasmania) but also some, most likely 0 pointers like Colombia. We will fight for that prestigious top 5 spot, but even if we should fail, this first PT year is nothing but success. Edited by Avin Wargunnson on 12-10-2015 07:57
Excellent work from Taaramae drags us up into the top 10, which is the target for this year, and hopefully spells the end of any relegation possibility.
The Vesuvio vs Bewley battle is progressing nicely, but I think Vesuvio are probably a safe bet now to take another well-deserved title.
Down the bottom, it's nice to see our friends at Orange clear of the relegation zone, hopefully they can stay above the red line by the end of the season
