Hah, for Nerz that doesn't count as a time loss, but rather as a time gain on a couple others
I wait for the day the guy we send in a winning break actually makes the final selection, it's never been the stats' fault that someone else wins the stage...
Overall, the TTT will cost us dearly as always, but with the amount of climbing, I gambled on the time gaps being large enough for that to not make a significant difference.

Well Azteca is already good for this race! Didn't expect much, but a 2nd place finish, 2nd in GC, 2nd in Points, 2nd in KoM. Even for one day we are wayyyyy ahead of what we expected.

Not a fan of these breakaway wins, but it is nice to see this one going to the home team Lululemon! Congrats TMM
Not too shabby from Eastman. Made the important selection I feel, which bodes well for his chances. Hopefully we can put in a solid TTT!

Nice job by Florentino, he's in a quite decent position to maybe go for more now. Would love to see a podium or a stage win (or both ), but a top 5 would be good as well.

Great stage for us, wasn't really expecting anything due to Samwel's inability to do anything this year, but him making the first favourites group and a decent TTT unit I'm now hopeful of a top 10.
Shame Kamzong couldn't hold onto the rest of the break but he gets some KotM points which could be of use if he attacks again. congrats TMM on the win. |

Nice going Janez, keep it up!
Now for TTT-damage limitation and some solid performances again, especially on that last stage.
Congrats TMN for home victory, always sweet!

False start for us with Machado failing to follow Intxausti's acceleration. TTT tomorrow is certainly a great opportunity to lose even more time, which means I'm going to need to massive days from my leader to achive a tangible success here.
Anyway congratulations to Lululemon for this victory. A very special one.

A somewhat strange report, or did I miss something? There's a split showing Mobil on 10th with + 35" and then a short text and Mobil has won! No doubt the AI is capable of pulling such a result, but I can't follow the report No offense, just didn't get the race situation here...

I also got confused, especially when it says that ONCE won, and my team only finished 6th. |

Never thought I would get dissapointed with a 6th place in a TTT
Awesome to only lose 13 sec's to the winner! Never thought I would be in 4th after TTT, now Even win is within reach!

No offense taken. I was as surprised about the results at the finish line as anyone
Did however write that Mobil had best time when they crossed and only stated that there appeared to be no stopping of ONCE.
I always write reports as the race goes on and only make smaller corrections afterwards. ONCE was dominant on the intermediates and Mobil was nowhere in those so when they took the best time I barely managed to get a pic of them efter the finish line. I have no idea why ONCE cracked that hard on the final part.

More focus on the finish and less on the intermediates was needed for that report, I'd say. TTs are always a pain to report though.
Nothing to write home about for Eritel so far. The way Atlantius built up my apparent TT strength, it seems to have turned out as quite a bad ride. Some aggression clearly needed in the final stages to salvage something.

Just happy we weren't last in the TTT. For brief period Sarmiento looked resplendant but he was always going to lose that jersey today. Lets push on and see if we can get a Top10GC and/or a KoM Jersey come the end of the race.

Considering we only have two riders above 70 TT here, that result is very impressive!
One second lost per km on the winner proves me right that TT depth is overrated in PCT at least, as this was one of only 2 or 3 TTTs in our season.

It's the lead not a big one but the lead none the less and a nice TTT to boot in second there hoping our lack of support does not hurt the race tommorow though and that Intxausti in Green(leading GC) will make him work a little bit harder on the next stage |
