@Heine: That certainly was a battle I was looking at - a shame for you that Sella misjudged his strength really.
Jose found his limit here - pretty amazing performance by Velits actually he is the overachiever for me.
Good steps for Vesuvio towards that ProTour title - nothing from Denifl here like quite a few mountain guys below 10th really found out with so many top guys here (though like someone said a suprising amount missing). Schleck really taking it with great panache Chapaeu!
Thanks for the report again tsmoha - what a legend (well he has quite a legend in his sig already - soon his legend will not be able to fit on screen!)

Some insane gaps here, great win for Vesuvio though - even better for them with Wikipedia struggling. At the bottom, Santander strike first but will need a lot of luck from here on in, while Volkswagen and Rothaus cancelled each other out. Great report tsmoha |

Wow, another immense performance by Schleck. It really has been a memorable season for him. Some of those gaps are just crazy.
Thanks tsmoha.

Somehow I missed this thread. Sorry for that tsmoha, that preview deserved my positive feedback.
About the race: Just another day in the office for Schleck This settles our no goal achieved season, even though I can't complain much about not winning this. Congratulations SN

Tough race, with Samwel dropped so early. Could have hoped for a bit more visibility but it was always going to be tough. Congrats to SN, a dominant win from Schleck. |

Very impressive by Schleck, congratulations SN!
6th place by Contador is definitely something I'll take, especially as he must have gapped Machado towards the finish. Velits definitely being the overachiever here as the brave 83 mountain rider able to follow the best chasers, congrats Roman.
A bit of a pity that Antón got dropped early due to bad positioning (?), as his 23rd could indicate he was on a good day, fighting his way back and almost reaching a top 20.
And another big thank you to tsmoha, another rock solid report |

Schleck had been true fantastic and seems intent on peering vesuio to the title. A little dissapointing from Denifl but a strong performance for Pinot mitigates that somewhat

Wow, Schleck is just amazing, congrats to SN, once again! And Velits is too at least for this day, definetely a big result from him, even he really likely had a great day. Nice to see that from him in this season, as I think he actually underachieved a little bit this season. Thank you ember, big thanks to tsmoha for just another quality report as well.

Bablidze on the attack again, you magnificent bastard.
Great result from Schleck and Cunego.
Asked for a top 10 from Rein, and he got 11th. Can't complain given the field.

That was somewhat embarrasing... I think Faiers just signed his contract cancellation with that performance...

Liechtenstein always was and always will be incredible. No surprise the strongest TdF climber won this. Congratulations SN once again.
A bit sad to see VDB not repeating last year's performance (thanks for mentioning that ) and that Rothaus can't really catch a lucky break and have an overperforming leader in these races. I don't want either team to go down -.-
Thanks for the great report tsmoha (and for every other report you did, you're awesome)!
