Good to see Boasson Hagen in the mix on such a flat stage, definitely promising for what is to come.
Impey really had the perfect position when we're not able to make a train for him, but admittedly he was simply not strong enough, incredible sprint from Bewley, definitely what they deserved after that leadout, congratulations! |

Must admit, that I simply forgot to post this second stage yesterday (and of course had no time in the evening, too).. so as a new year's present, I will post two stages today
Happy new year, everyone!

This was a nice Sprint by Guardini. Unfortunately he wasn't able to keep the pace until the end. But 10th in this field is a good result.
Now for the more important stages. |

Very nice stage win. Good to see that my lead out train is still worth the money now and again! Criado is the fastest lead out in the field, and this time he showed it.
Hopefully having Swift in the lead won't stop Schleck from following any moves.

Happy New Year!
Looks like our team can't decide who to back in the sprints, which the result with Impey in 8th and EBH in 9th kind of underlines.
But it's first now the race starts for real for us, fingers crossed Boasson Hagen and the team is up for it!
And congratulations to SN on the win, that was great work from Criado. |

Not good by us to just let the breakaway go. That must be improved on the next stage, which is obviously going to be key, if Boasson Hagen is going to do better than last year. Hopefully he'll be aggressive and try to make the stage as tough as possible, as even the sprinters could follow close if the puncheurs are doing something similar again.
Congratulations to CrueTrue, Vichot's abilities always makes him a great threat in breakaways.
Thanks for the reports so far, tsmoha! |

Thanks, ember! Definitely a meh stage here. Let's just hope the big guns saved their energy for tomorrow's more challenging day
As for Oz, i'm glad to see us joining two breakaways so far. Gillett couldn't hang on, but he's still one of my secret personal favorites on my team.

Nice stage by Roux. Hopefully those seconds will give him a nice GC in the end.
But I still hope that both, him and lls go for the GC. |

Not the best New Year´s present for me
Hopefully I´ll change my opinion after queen stage and upcoming flat ones.
Thanks tsmoha for fast and quality reporting!

Thanks tsmoha.
Congratulations CrueTrue. A solid win for Vichot there.
VdHH did well in the peloton, inside the top ten finishers in the bunch, so hopefully he can stick with most of the best.

Now that was a boring stage... Hopefully there is more action on the next one, with Flügel winning ;-)

This is bringing back memories of last years tour of Norway at the moment, that was an ulmighty clusterf*** on the last stage. Let's be honest stage 3 was crappy for the hilly leaders, but for SRB it is great to see these mid stafe attacks actually bearing a bit of fruit.
Just hoping Juul Jenson keeps fighting for position on this next stage.

It's really too bad, that I don't have a rider trying to go for an attack on those stages, where we have nothing to lose.
Clement Koretzky did well to get the mountainsjersey on stage 2, but it's really too bad that he lost it again on stage 3. I can only hope that he, or someone else from my team will go into the break on stage 4, as that is where the KOM jersey will be sealed - And that is basically all we can hope to get.
So COME ON Koretzky!

That's all I ask for Schumacher, an average result rather than a horrible one. This is going alright so far.

Well this was shit. LLS should really suit this race, so it`s a shame he is not trying and instead Roux is, who is surely not strong enough. LLS should at least be equal with Sagan on those stages.
15th and 33rd is far too less for my duo here. Will need some breakaway success now or a good performance on the last stage.
And Guardini eventually sprinting for top10.
But this at least won`t become a good points collector it seems and only positive is that Bpost, Santander, Volkswagen aren`t scoring much better. |

Yap, a pity for teams like Rothaus and BPost, that their main riders took an off-day. Still another chance left.
Schleck though... Well, a family enjoying a hot streak! Gratz, SN

I really had high hopes for this Tour of Norway as I felt the team around Boasson Hagen were stronger than last year, but that obviously doesn't help a thing when the captain himself isn't up for it
Swift in front of Boasson Hagen in the GC after two tough stages just underlines that, and it will be really hard for him to get inside the top 10 overall now as the final stage doesn't look like one that will make a huge impact on the overall classification.
Thanks for a very nice report! The elder brother is having an amazing season considering his stats, and possibly motivated by Andy's win in France, he's keeping Vesuvio very much in the mix for the PT crown. They could even be virtual leaders right now? Congratulations on a great stage win, SN.
Fingers crossed Impey can improve on the coming flat stages, as my hopes for a stage win are still alive. |
