Well, well, well, another major top-10 result by Valverde. Great. Could perhaps have ended up even better, but I'll take it. |

7th place for Ricco is a good result. If he can do that consistently in these classics, then he will be a very important rider for us.
I'm a bit concerned with our domestiques though. Some of them should be quite capable of being well inside top 50, such as Furdi and Boily. I would really love for them to take just a little bit of points here and there.

@CrueTrue: He surely surprises me. Seems as if his big name carries him over those hills.
@SotD: Yep. This really annoys me a lot. I had expected to be stronger in those races when having 3-4 riders, who should be top50, but then have only 1 or 2. Easy points giving away. |

Nice! Great podium for Ponzi, his awesome season continues! I think I can trade not having as many guys as I'd like in the top 25 for a podium in each race

Great report, thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Just didn't like the outcome too much.
Congrats to Tinkoff and their man. Very well played, tactically, so deserved winner imo.
I'm glad to have this back on the road.

2nd is awesome for Schleck, and also 12th is very good for Gastauer. Schleck still doing the business with 4th in Pais Vasco too. Now to continue the catch up in Fleche/Liege.
Great report Selwink!
