I still haven't got PCM14 yet, but did you use the stage editor that comes with it to create these stages, as I think I read that it had some improvements in it, or did you work from ideas and tips from elesewhere? I think that is impossible to convert a stage of a new version of a game to make it work with an older one. Just the opposite.
