Hallo! Rather then start a new thread I will post here..
I'm new! I've wanted this game for years and years but the UI always put me off, but I think the new look is nice. It is abit 'console' as I've seen somebody say but its pretty simplistic which I like.
I was wondering what does the 'IMP' mean on the rider schedule mean? If I unchecked it does that mean he is not riding in that race anymore?
I just did my firs Career race with Roubaix Lille and finished a rider in 19th in the GP de Marseille - is that any good?! haha. I noticed all the Top teams were racing against me too but my rider did burn out at the end - think I pushed him too hard!

Yes, the AI is racing against you but this also is not an acrade-like game, so you cannot win by force (unless you have the strongest rider).
Try to find some gameplay videos on youtube, maybe this helps understanding the game.

Is it possible to adjust by start the contract length of my riders (Want to start with NetApp, but half of the team has only contract till end of 2014)? |

I am not sure if I understood your question but it is not possible to define the contract length in the database. The contract and its length will be generated at the start of the career.
But there should be threads on how to prolong the contract of a rider in the career. It might be more difficult if the contract runs out at the end of the season. So why don't you just offer them a new contract in the game. |

Because the riders are König, Bennett and Machado and i´m very sure they won´t sign for another year. So i want sign them at the beginning of the career for 2 years. So the only way - i have to reload ... reload ... reload |

This game has two backup systems.
1. Whenever the game saves your career, it renames the old file by adding a ~ at the end. So if your save is corrupt, you can delete or move the corrupt file and remove that ~.
2. Every week (in game time) a save will be stored in the weeklysave folder. You can copy files from that folder to your save game folder and then load it in the game.
But you can also make a backup yourself by going back to the main menu of the game (which saves your career) and then copying the file.
Your saves are here: my documents\pcm14\users\your name\database\solo\name of db\ |

Is there any way to change the shortcut keys or to add new shortcuts?
I'd really like to use a key to progress a day but can't find a way how....

I have tried to add a custom jersey to a career game, but I can't make it. It only shows a (standard?) cyanide shirt. I've tried a little and read a few threads(yes lachi, I have used forum search ). But I can't figure out what I've done wrong. I would also like to add a NC shirt, but that will be after I've fixed this

What is the new multiplayer like? Is it possible to play a career with a friend, or is our only option to play a stage/stage race?
And if it exists (never know with Cyanide) are the multiplayer/LAN/whatever working properly? |
