That's a nice way to report a TT.
Congrats, Smowz!

Omg, did that really happen?
Great report and what a ride by Ignatiev to beat freaking Phinney monster and almost challenging best TTist under the sun.
I hope he will carry confidence to PCT and crush the opposition (especially Rogers) there in TTs.
Also lovely ride by Marlen Zmorka to grab 21st place in such a field, being 21 years! old and beating also lvl4 rivals like Haugard or Durbridge who are xp level above him. I am already looking forward to his 82TT maxed ability.
Congrats to Redbull! Oh and sorry rjc_43, this went better then expected.

Wow. I was expecting a much boring report given my personal lack of interest in this race. This was an extordinary effort, with some creative features. Thanks for that cunego
Obviously the race became much more interesting than it was expected. Metinvest's Ignatiev was by far the most impressive rider, which adds further value to their wildcard attribution.
Congratulations Smowz. Fortunately Coppel was around to complement Cancellara's below par performance. At some point I had the feeling ING could grab a hold of a sensational 1-2 but they won't leave this race empty-handed.
I'm happy for my team as well. Two guys in the top40 is a remarckable improvement on last race .

Good reporting, but no screenshot of Posthuma
I guess 12th is pretty decent. And Nechita beat a few guys

Unfortunately the wind changed a lot with the last starters. Had hoped to see a completely uninfluenced TT.
7th and 14th is nice obviously even though before the season and a real view on the DB, I had hoped for more with a 80/81 duo.
That said Boom`s 35th is shit. 2nd ITT in a row, where he can`t top30! I really hope these were bad days only and not a sign of how the season will be for him.
Great report Cunego. Really enjoyed reading it. |

6th from Cornu is more than acceptable and I leave here happy. Also the 5th best PT rider, which gives me a lot of hope for the rest of the season. I'm much less happy about Flens and Bonnet only just being inside the top 30 but that's the way these things go.

Truly fantastic report, really livened up the TT. Can't say enough about it.
Given that it was far more unpredictable than I thought going in, not upset with a 3rd and all 3 riders finishing in the top 30.

*shakes fist at Ignatiev*
Clearly he didn't enjoy the pressure of being constantly in the Pro Tour, yet likes doing the wildcards.
Malori disappoints, but hey ho.

Cancellara!
18th is alright from Bernaudeau. An enourmous amount of TT'ers this season wont make it easy.

Great report, the result ended up a bit dissapointing though but luckily did I only pick a "finish in top 10" goal here... 3 guys doing just that is great with the TTT's to come

Great report that was, big thanks.
8th is good enough, nice ride by Jesse, even he was lucky with that wind... And Coppel won, really nice!

A bit dissapointing by Dempster, but otherwise decent start to his B&O career with a solid result in Qatar aswell. Really looking forward to Paris-Nice now!

Very pleased that Coppel managed to pull that off. Cancellara was disappointing, but I expected him to have differing conditions, did not think it would be that extreme.
A wonderful report Cunego, thank you for that it was a very nice read and plenty for all involved managers.
Thanks also for all the congrats, this race has a big place in the teams hearts.

That was definitely a new way to make a TT report, and I liked it a lot, thanks, cunego59!
Ignatiev with a super performance, it looks like TTs might be slightly more unpredictable than in previous seasons, which is a good thing, I think. Great win for Coppel and Smowz, he kind of had to pull that of when Cancellara performed far below his usual standards. |

Disappointing as expected.
I've noticed some pretty wild swings in wind conditions mid race, so time trials could be quite random this year.

Thanks for the nice comments, guys. I really put a lot of time and effort into the report to make the read worthwhile, which is sometimes difficult with a time trial. I'm glad you like the outcome.
@ alexkr00:
Spoiler
There you go It was a close call whether or not to include it in the actual report, but I wanted to make a cut before the last 10 riders and Posthuma was the 11th. And since he put a good, but not spectacular time, I decided to put him in the spoiler with the others. Sorry about that

Just got around to reading this, but like the others have said before a fantastic report cunego59. Very creative, I might have to steal a few elements of this for later (man-game or something else. Hope you don't mind. ).
Really scared that Ignatiev finished 2nd. Feeling good that I sold Costa and went for a hilly sprinter in Ventoso instead of keeping the TT/Hilly racer in Costa. Because if Ignatiev keeps that up in the PCT races then he is going to be unstoppable.
