I havent decided upon a method of gaining stats by training yet.
But this excel file shows how the stats adding for experience level increases is worked out:

Whether a rider gains an experience level or not, depends on their race days. 1 Race day = 2 xp points.

So, it's going to be like you choose under which category you want your rider to develop, and then he gets his stats depending which talent and experience he got...sounds like a great way to do it to.

eeeh, there are tables from level 1 to 2, 2 to 3 and 3 to 4, but a rider's stats increases when he reached the max of lvl 4 as well... |

well, I must say I dont have pcm 06 but in 07 it's like that, so I guess 06 works the same. and I wouldnt really know how to proof that rigth now...
Edit: why would riders be gaining exp points after reaching lvl 4 if it has no point anyway?

Thats true, I think Ill give Max Level 4 the same increase as going from Level 2 to Level 3.

that should be ok, cus else they would grow too big I guess  but that means I'll have another 3 or 4 riders getting better  |

So for instance if I have a rider who increases to level 4 this off-season, then he still has one level to go (Level 4 Max)?

So there is going to be some sort of increase in stats for the riders which already have reached the max experience level 4 too, depending on their age and talent I suppose. A little bit tricky to decide how much though. Maybe you should look on the results the rider has done and go that way.

you'll have to ask SN how he does it exactly, but basically, the older the rider gets, the bigger the stat decrease. they retire with 35 so I think the stats start decreasing around 32, 33 |

Potential 1-6
1972-1973 - 35-37 year olds - 5/6 points off Sta/Rec/Res/Acc. 4 points off others.
1974 - 34-35 year old - 4/5 points off Sta/Rec/Res/Acc. 3 points off others.
1975 - 33-34 year olds - 3/4 points off Sta/Rec/Res/Acc. 2 points off others.
1976 - 32-33 year olds - 1/2 points off Sta/Rec/Res/Acc. 1 point off others.
Potential 7

Also, ive replaced many retired with new ones, taken from later versions of ppdb. 41 new riders have been added so far from 27 countries.
