I'm having a hard time gettin' why Jonas Aaen doesn't take part in the mass sprints. Surely the hills coulda exhausted him, but he doesn't take part on the flat stages either.

Luxembourg is too hilly for him. And the AI obviously deems him not good enough to sprint, for some reason.

Ranking Update
Individual
Has Fabian Wegmann just wrapped up victory in the Individual Rankings? He scored a massive 183 points and now has nearly double the amount of points of 2nd placed Vicioso. Jimmy Casper rises from 10th to 8th with consistenet yet unimpressive performances in the sprint, while Simone Cadamuro has leaped to 11th. He scored 116 points - the highest ever total from a race for a rider who did not win either a stage or the overall GC. Vansummeun and Ivanov move up a couple of places in the low 20s while Bradley Wiggins keep himself in the top 30. Richeze is up to 30th despite crashing out, with O'Bee and Kairelis right on his tail.

Team
Tinkoff may wqell have also secured first in the team rankings, they are now 397 points ahead of 2nd placed Letua. Theres no change in the top 4 but Agritubel move closer to Designa Kokken. These 2 teams need to watch out though as more teams start ot catch them up. Landbouwkredit are up to 5th and are continuing to gain ground on those above them as they move within 100 points of Promotion for the first time. Wiesenhof are also on the rise to 6th, leaving behind the 4 way battle for 7th. Other than Tinkoff, Wiesenhof have been the top points scoring team in recent races. Panaria have slipped from 5th to 7th, but are just 8 points behind Wiesenhof. HealthNet take 8th from Une Orbitel in the only other positional change as Relax Gam pass the 100 point mark.

It was a good performance, from my point of view, from Ben Day - but 9th on the first stage and 18th overall wins South Australia no points - must do better! |

That's so much better than what my team achieved. I had no guys in the top 20 in the GC and I only had one top 20 position on a stage. I think I was 18th on the prologue. Must've been my worst tour to date. Now bring on Austria, so Grivko can signal his intent regarding the CT individual standings for the 2009 season
