And Michael Valgren Andersen won U23 Liège - Bastogne - Liège in 2012.
Same year as Mads Würtz won the juniors Paris - Roubaix. That after he became Junoir TT-World Champion in 2011...
In my Nordic Cycling story Jesper Hansen has grown to a level where he can compete for the young riders classification in GT's!

New Zealand Cycle Classic
3rd stage

At the start i have to say that it was great stage for us!
First 20kms passed and even 4 breakaways got caught by Rapha Condor.
After that,5th one was successful one , one of riders was our rider Andersen,he also tried before so he couldnt keep rhytm of guys at front so he fell back at peloton again.

All 3 mountain sprints was won by Sergej Fuchs (NPS - Ghost),so not much to say about them.

Great ride from guys at front, indeed, but that wasnt enough (as all expected) so peloton was widining the gap and finally got last rider who was in that breakaway, McCarthy , right at 10kms banner.

Whole team felt excelent today!
Train-part is beggining and 2 trains was created. Choise was on Vinther , which one to take, Rapha or other one. He decided to go with 2nd one!

He was in really, really great position! Just to notice,Vinther wasnt even in "Can't been unrestimated" today,so he was out of competition,on paper.
Strong teams launched sprint,Vinther came just in perfect time out all wheels and kept leadinig until last 1,5 meter, how close was it you can see below in photo - finish.

And,no,damn no,we lost by 15 cms today. Its really aweeeesome result now,we're attacking on GC,it will be hard, Eeckhout is really strong one with even stronger team. See ya!

His priority is first part of season so if he get some stage win(s) or even some GC win on some hilly/sprint race we would be totally satisfied.

New Zealand Cycle Classic
4th stage

Cold, really cold day today, somehow strange for NZ but hey,its january,we must race!
Early breakaway started at downhill which was pretty strange, but thats it.

Group was calm, our rider felt pretty good, but not perfect. Seems like whole team hates coldness.
At 1st intermediate sprint Agarkov was the best one.

Whole stage was as weather, boring,so we will skip directly to last 10kms.
10kms to go,group finally caught the last man at front. Can Vinther keep form up or it was just too flat for him today? We will see!

This time, there was 3 trains, our main sprinter has choosen Rapha Condors one. Seemed like they was going just too fast for him,he needed some energy there.

Everything is ready!

Vinther was probably the last one who started sprinting due to lack of energy, will that be good tactic?

Hmm,not that bad,but not what we expected after great ride yesterday.

Eeckhout won and he is now safe at 1st position,we can still run for a podium there! Thats it,we're fairly satisfied with result, not so happy but not sad at all! See ya tommorow!

Exactly. Our goal was top5,but 2nd? GREAT! We will try to keep it. It will be hard at last stage knowing that Edgar is only 1 second behind us. Even if we lose it,we should not lose 3rd place,8" is just too much in 1 sprint. Thanks for support!

Just so you know, Nicki Østergaard retired a few months ago, so if you want your career to be realistic you should remove him too
But great results with Vinther, lets hope you can get victory with him soon! |

o.O Okay man,i will probably change him with some young talent (at the end of the season)
Thanks man,i dont think we can win tommorow , but at first part of the season, yes, definitely he has chances for stage win (at least) !
