How much do you simulate races compared to 3d?

i see myself as 1 directeur on a team, so as in the real world can only be at 1 race at a time.. so if team has 2 races on at same time, eg paris nice/tirreno adriatico, i will race all stages of 1 race, and sim all stages of the other...

i find this the best balance between getting results, and having the game tick along at a reasonable pace.

i have tried simming majority of races in the past, and there is no immersion and I lose interest in those saves quickly.
