Identifying Riders

The Norwegian commentators Christian Paasche and Johan Kaggestad sometimes have an freakish ability to see who the rider is, especially Kaggestad.

Even from the helicopter photos they are usually dead on about who it is.

Edit: I did have a lot of trouble seeing who each rider was untill I got into it a bit more. It can be quite difficult since they wear both glasses and helmets. After a while you get better at recognicing faces and "styles". Say if someone has a very upright position whilst someone else might "sway" form side to side.

In the Vuelta in 2011 I think, the Norwegian Eurosport commentator kept on mistaking Tomasz Marczynski in the Polish Champion jersey for a Katusha rider... "Marczynski, the Katusha rider"... I started laughing hysterically every time he said that in the end...
