It's just not happening for Alarcon, super race for Bouygues worked brilliantly as a team.
Solis and Sauza long time comedy riders proving their worth.
Enjoyed the race, great write up for me always like roturn-lish

Meh. Not really a big race for WWE here. Not surprised, though, looking at the start list.

Really nice race, great to see Ndbri climbing with the best. Considering the position he was in it could have been better than 12th but I'll take it. Shame we only got 18pts |

Kenyan authorities are warned. Our riders are missing.
Moreno has been found, and apparently he even has 5 points!

That was a first - seeing Alarcon with a good gap all aone and then being pulled back in.
Happy enough with a third - would have liked Cataldo to have been a little bit better. |

Very disappointing Popovych, finishing 9th, i cant be happy with that, missing our first sponsor goal by four places, but in the end i thought he would probably finish 5-10, so it happened. His aging legs are clearly not enough against the young generation on such a mountain classic. At least some HC points...
Nice report and congrats to Bouygues!
Edit: Strange that some leaders including Popovych were beaten by helpers Solis and Nazaret, they probably benefited from position at the front of the group when some split happened?

Solis and Suaza were pacing hard with riders like Popovych or Kashechkin dropping.
When Taaramae attacked both were still fighting to stay in the next group instead of real life cycling, where they often go totally slow then.
So strong team mates pay off in terms of points as well.
Nazaret had the advantage that Alarcon attacked and rode solo for several kilomters. So he did not have to work a bit I think. |

A failure for me with Kashechkin failing to get inside the top 10, but he has money races to go to make up for this. I am at least happy that the recent mountain stages have been more like real life with lots of splits.

Nice race to follow. I hope this is the tendency for mountainstages. A lot of action and in the end the strongest on the day goes clear.
Nice race for Crommy also - Will be interesting to see if he can jump straight back up.
