Really not such a bad day for the team. Shikai seems to be strong and Ji did about how I expected, maybe a bit better.
Loved the TT report too. Sure know how to make them exciting, even if they aren't my favourite

My team is not exactly renowned for time-trialling ability, but two in the top 25 is a success, although I won't get any points for it.

Couldn't had hoped for a better start from Castaño, though I doubt he'll stay out of trouble given the current lack of luck for the team.
Larsson did really well, and I also think he'll end up winning the race with a bit of luck

With Larsson now getting the yellow jersey bonus he is going to be tough to beat. The GC teams have to hope that a sprinter can win a few stages and take it off him before Genting.

Couldn't have gone better! 2nd and 3rd, no race leader responsibility so we can hopefully focus on Roelandts for these upcoming sprints

Decent start, even though i had hoped for a smaller gap between Larsson and Peraud.
But 4th and 6th ain't bad, plus Kilun, who could end up in points-placesments. Now just hoping to avoid any drama with Peraud.
And excellent work, Smowz! You obviously put a lot of this work into it, and the final outcome is far better than a TT deserves ( says the manager, who needs TTs so badly this year)

Great TT report Smowz and well done Larsson! Also Peraud with nice result and these two will be those to beat with some attacking racing, but it will be hard for likes of Castano and Ratiy (i expected a bit more from Vadim in TT).

That wasn´t quite what I expected. But damn I´m happy! Great report, and a great win. Hopefully none of the sprinters will win too many stage, and take the jersey away from him. |

Congrats to Larsson and Boygues with really good performances. We are right were we thought we should be with Adamou and Banihammad who might be able to bring us some points in the GC.
Really nice written report Smowz, I espescially enjoyed the part where you listed up just the times of the GC-favourites. Maked it a lot easier to follow the race! |

Loved the report. Top job as usual, Smowz.
Results-wise, a bit disappointed with Dyachenko. Hoped for a bit more from him. Would've liked to have Osella within a minute as well, but oh well.
Fingers crossed for a selective mountain stage.

Ratiy safe in the pack and Zabel testing his legs in the sprint, can't complain

Ah, had hoped for Scully to join the sprints.. Invisible Oz today, but at least no splits or crash or other drama.

Last season the team finally started providing decent lead-outs for Jurgen Roelandts. Please don't tell me we've forgotten how to do them already

6th is a pretty good result considering Andriato was blocked. I sent two sprinters here, and I hope both sprint in the future.

I know I don't have any decent leadout mans, but why on earth were Lo Cicero sprinting that early??? He just managed to finish inside top-15...
Wow, that went so bad I couldn't even imagine it
He did a great effort in Qatar, but seems like he are completely useless on stages with just slightly uphillsections...
I have a feeling this will not be any race to remember for us |

Great pace at the report Smowz and I like your many pictures in the end kilometers, even though it's a pain in the neck to see Lo Cicero fading away and eventually disappears before they reaches the line, every single time. I hereby name him Lol Cicero.
Unless he actually does anything good soon, he will be a great contester to the fail signng of the year
Great win by Roelandts though, and congrats! |
