ü <-- There you go
Congratulations
You really need those results if you want to compete for promotion as planned, and Rothaus continuing to score well somehow makes me believe we won't meet next year

He wins, and you don't want to make any effort to get his name right?
Oh, and you should consider to swap sponsors with Smowz next season and then loan out Flügel, because translating Red Bull's ad slogan to German exactly means "Red Bull loans out Flügel"

Didn't expect to do that well. I thought I might be able to sneak a top 20 thanks to the nationality bonus but that's far better then I could have imagined.

Great and exiting report over a race that had a lot of interesting moments, too bad that Marchantes final kick was not existing. Pressure on Zabriskie to get the team back on track after these two mediocre results.
Nice win for VW, Flügel is really delivering

Nice race, really aggressive. And HTC sneaking into top 10s again like last year.
Check out my ManGame team here

Wow this actually went nicely. Congratulations to Volkswagen - Mapei, they don't too bothered to be one of the last of the promotion contenders to start their season. Tinkoff also seems to be awaking in harmony. On the other hand the 2nd chasing group ended up in a kind of a lottery for many top notch puncheurs.
Great to see Mendes is able to ascertain himself in these sort of races. He's been pretty consistent so far this season, which is really pleasant.
Very nice report as well tsmoha. Interesting till the end and accompanied by some artistic and informative pics. Great work

Nice performance by Bellis. Very good race and congrats to Heine. Flügel is a great rider to have.
Good that the attacking riders were rewarded here and not being caught in the end. |

Thanks all for the kind words on the report/screens!
It was indeed a nice race to follow, even more as you never knew wether the attacking riders would hold on to their rather small gaps. Flügel and Bellis truly deserved those results, and Kolobnev just had the perfect timing in the end.
A pity for the likes of Ben Nasser or Dowsett, who both looked strong, but simply missed the right moment to stay clear from the bunch. It was nice to see, that both Levarlet and Mendes were able to move ahead of that bunch late in the race though.
And a huge effort by Schurter. His downhill-skills definitely were of good use!
So, there's still hope for the MG-puncheurs, as the classics play out very well, imo.

Great report but a forgettable race for us. Should have gone to Gisborne.

It is good to have you aboard tsmoha, I recall the time I invited you to have a look at the ManGame and now it seems as if the bug has well and truly taken you on
Heine picked right here and Flugal avoided the really big guns and managed to shoot down the slightly lesser men. Bellis had a good weekend as well didn't he

About time I started picking the right races for my riders ;-)
Seems to me that the downhill-stat is getting more important, luckily for me Flügel is really strong downhill I really hope that he will battle the likes of Bakelands next year (with some training ofc ;-))

Well deserved win for Flugel. Always a bit of a lottery if you cant get away, so didnt work out for Dowsett this time.

Great win from Flügel, congrats!
Race to forget for Metinvest, but this is only one of two or three hilly classics for us in the seaon. At least Pakthusov followed the given instructions and attacked bravely, this was his only chance.

Great race - not really results-wise for Vueling, but alright, you can't get away every time
I'd hoped Reimer would be able to stay with the front group in case it came down to a bunch sprint, but so far that strategy hasn't seemed to be working as well for him as it has for e.g. Hoffman. Maybe next season |
