I think with my team now I could have made promotion last year in especially with Bellis and Boom, even without Vantomme scoring.
I doubt this season I will make it even when Vantomme starts to score. But you never know. |

Are there really teams in between?

The first wildcards can now be revealed:
Giro d'Italia
Cisco Cycling Team
Hollister
Tour de France
Team CSC-Orbea
Vuelta a Espana
Prio - Porto
Jaguar - Eritel
That's right. Only 1 ProContinental team has any interest in riding the biggest race in the game!
Weird, but not that uncommon? I didn't have any problem succesfully applying for a TdF Wildcard when I was at Continental level.

I have a feeling this season will be highly unexpecting, and for me it seems that we will have two groups in PCT, the ones that will form the upper half of the table and the ones who will form the bottom part. At least that's my thoughts, cause so far I have just read messages such as:
"This season is all about fighting to gain promotion to PT"
or
"Our only goal is to avoid relegation."

Well from my perspective that's a considerable oversimplification of what will happen. There are a few teams that are sure to be fighting to promote and a similar number are sure to fight against relegation. The majority though will be somewhere between those two groups and will only know the places they'll dispute after a good part of the season is gone.
Unpredictability is a trademark of the Man-Game, whatever the division you're in.

Wildcards were free when you were in CT!

Congrats Heine for the 2nd Tour spot. Should be a nice race to watch. Hope Ratiy will be there. |
