This same thing happened to me. Try ending the process in the task manager then delete the local.cdb file then restart the game. This is what worked for me and I had to do it many times when I first started playing the game.

Should I delete or replace the local.cbd?

I did replace the local.cdb and now it did work! I don't know how to thank you! Smile

I had the same problem, I installed the StanosBase and now my game is totally fine
