Great Britain won't bring Beckham, they will bring Micah Richards, Ryan Giggs and Craig Bellamy for the Football cup.

Thank f**king god he will be nowhere near the pitch.
Glad Richards got the spot after that snub from Hodgson.

I read that Richards snubbed Hodgson by refusing to be a reserve?
Anyway, I agree. Football needs to be as forgettable as possible, Olympics is about all the other sports that Football usually drowns out in media attention. Beckham being picked would have taken over the games.

So who do you guys think will win the most medals in London?
Russia,China,USA or Great Britain?
I will go with China for most medals, because breaking bones from the early childhood and another inhuman methods (yeah,i hate them) should be enough...USA will win the most gold medals though.

Has Canada some medal candidates on the non-icy olympics?
Czech republic could earn 5-8 medals i think and Slovakia 3-4 i hope (one from cycling).

Can't believe that Lord Coe wants Beckham to light the torch in the Olympic Stadium
Why him for god's sake
What about multi Olympic medalists like Sir Steve Redgrave or Sir Chris Hoy
Beckham loves the UK so much he lives in the USA the tosser

Its nice to see the Daily Telegraph know who Mark Cavendish is, there is a guide to the Olympics and it says Mark Cavendish is favourite to win Road Race Gold but shows a picture of Tyler Farrar (I think) in Garmin kit

Lucky you! Should be a great atmosphere and memories to remember. What is the capacity of the stadium? |
