Some news about the 2012 Vuelta a España:
- It'll start with a 15km TTT (in Pamplona, as previously announced).
- The penultimate stage will end in the Bola del Mundo.
- The 5th stage will most likely end at the Santuari de la Mare de Déu de Canòlic, 7.8km at 8.2%, which is halfway the Coll de la Gallina. Pic:

I came here looking for info about Contador but seems like they havent had the hearing yet. Anyone have a date of when in November it will take place? |

The Volta a Catalunya will have TV coverage again, after three years, thus helping the race to continue and to not to follow the path of the Setmana Catalana, Volta a Galicia, and the likes. Really good news, although I hope they come up with a better route than this year's abomination.

Great, it's good for South American cyclists to compete againt's the big guns (well they only come to warm up, but still).
Wished they could compete at the insane Colombian mountains.

Most riders are preparing their schedules for the start of next season.
Looks like the Tour de San Luis will have a strong startlist with Nibali and Contador. Boonen is also thinking about starting their as this season ended a bit earlier for him as other years.
