His form is shitty and that might be the very problem, but since I've never experienced it before it seemed odd. Anyway, thanks for all of your help. Is there any way you can edit his form from outside the game? In that way i would be able to check if that is the problem.
I his form is around 60 or something, then I think you can be guaranteed that that's the problem.
It was 73, so it could have been worse.
Well, if he's only got 73 then it's no wonder he's struggling.
It's just that some of my other riders with remarkably lower stats and in same shitty shape is doing better. Just gotta win that stage with C. Sorensen again i guess |

When I ask how his form is, before the race there is an actual number that tells you his form. This can have a huge effect on how hard he has to work.
i gota say this confused me a bit, is there a stat for form before the race begins not related to the day form number that changes throughout the race from line to a number to the coloured number. since seeing this post i have looked in the game for this but can't find anything other than fitness and moral |

The form of your rider is viewed by going to his training-profile. There you'll see a bar up in the right corner which can be red, yellow or green depending on his form. In the bar you'll see a number like "80 (75+5)" This means that his form is 80, 75 in training form and 5 in race form. It goes from 0 to 99.
His training form depends on the training program you have given him. The hister possible form you can have is 99 (80+19). |

thanks for the reply, so basically its the fitness number overall but broken down in two.
a few questions regarding this. if two riders have the same overall number but the breakdown is differnt will their be a difference between them e.g. one has a higher race form number than training
aslo how many races does it take to get the race form up and i'm guessing it depends on what happens during those races aswell.
i'm just thinking ahead with my season, i'm at the end of feb looking foward to tdf though |

If two riders both have 80 in MO, but one has 90 in form and the other one has 80, the one with 90 will perform better, regardless of how much "race form" he has, it's the overall that counts.
From my experience it increases with roughly 1 point per day. So if you race a 10-day race it should be 8-10. What you do during the stage doesn't matter. Keep in mind it does decrease for every day without a race. |

His form will start to go down after 60 days so try to keep it around 60-65-70. |
