The reason Ignatiev attacked last year for me was because he was judged best rider in my team - or at least 2nd best - that was never going to be the case for him this year, with Ponzi and Caruso in the team

The fields for these hilly ones have been very very competative...
Ricco wins, not though parcours that I would have had as suiting him, but he got away from the others. LEGO performing well is a surprise and an excellent second place for Kolobnev, that does keep things interesting at those promotion fringe places as UBS put in a complete non performance.
Plenty of detail there Kami - expectations high for a thrilling Emillia race!

Wiggle scored the most in this race and move past the 4500 point mark, while Milka, Bacardi, Pendletons and Lego are all in the points once again - these 4 teams are all looking good for promotion.

Me too.
If I Coral had been taking bets on this one, I'd have had my house on it. |

Well should the reporters then only report races that their own team ain't participating in? Ricco and Goss was defiantly the best and one of the best in those races, that's for sure!

Well Markov has put you into 10th after Piemonte, so its certainly possible - Kolobnev ought to do well, and I guess youre a favourite for Normand.
A lot depends on how well the likes of UBS, Petronas, Benfica, Pokerstars and Santander go in the stage races - where the potential is there for more points to be gained than from the classics

If youre doubting the reports in any way then put simply, you should just give up and quit the Management Game Im fairly sure rjc and fenian were joking - and as you say, Ricco was the most likely rider to win this race.

Well it really not meant like a change I would like to see, that's why I pointed out that the chances for victories for Ricco/Goss, if not just to defend Kami joke or not.

Yes - as SN says if you have no trust in or want to complain about the people running the races then you'd be better walking away from the ManGame.
Having said that, Ricco winning here is nowhere near the most suss result of the season so far. |

Jesus.. I've never doubted the way this game is being run - please read what I wrote above. What I said earlier was a response to your and rjc's "jokes" though it's rather sad that you take my words that more serious than your own..

Well to be fair, they used emotions, which usually implies a joke and you didnt

No need to throw your toys out of the pram.
My comment was not directed at you and was meant as a more general observation about the Man Game. I'm sorry you seem to have read it as some kind of personal attack. |

Well, normally i was doing this race, but after those cynical "jokes", i felt it would be better to give the race to someone else. Thx to SN for taking it.
In the end, Ricco wins, which was to be expected. Kirchen 6th, which gives me close to 200 points. Also top 10 goal achieved. Rjc also achieving his top 5 goal.
My next race will be Herald Sun Tour.

Seriously.
I have come last in every single uphill group finish this season.
It's getting ridiculous

Ventoso is a little out of his depth fighting in that company though, just be glad he actually attacked!
