Meh. My theory almost worked. Seeing Greipel fails when I expect him to do good, I thought maybe he could fail at failing when I expected him to fail. This was really the deal during Tour de France, when he did good, and I expected him to do bad.
This time, he actually managed to outsprint Hoste!
I hope Greipel fails again.
On the good side, at least his wage will be lower.
Edit: Longest post about a race, ever. For me.

Rowe just 4th wheel back with like 2,000 to go, then he ends up 28th. Really realistic. Honestly. |

Very good performance by Goss AND Gajek. He has been quite dissappointing, but still performs from time to time.
A win was required to get a good GC position, so i'm very happy with the result.

I'm a little surprised Cav performed so poorly after winning the first stage. The leaders jersey usually guarantees a decent performance. |

It's frustrating - but for some weird reason having two strong riders / leaders works for some teams and not others. A combination of Swift / Cav should have been extremely difficult to beat.
Doesn't appear to be a pattern to it either - just luck.

It doesnt seem as if they even worked together though - except maybe on Stage 2. Swift just finished well down consistently, and no mention as to why - whether he was following a weaker teammate, only mb would know

One word: splendid. Goss does deliver from time to time. He gets a good position 2 times, and wins it 2 times, same with Vattenfall. Other times, he just got crap position or even a few times he didn't sprint. Gajek also a nice 7th.
Looking forward to the rankings, promotion is coming awefully close now. Think i scored around 220-230 points.

If this race gave me more than 5 point, I am shocked.

Great win by Goss - he has had a pretty goos season really, winning Vattenfalls was a big result and here too. Lets remember all the big guns were here - Milka also having a very strong race.
