Garbelli + Pagato + Passalacqua (Vespa) in the break.

With 50km to go though the gap is just 1.20, Vorganov has done a great job for Pendletons, Vespa and Cillit Bang have been helping out as well.

The all Ginanni does is counter and lets a weaker rider win.

Another sterling performance from the Vespa boys.

You know what I do when a rider lets me down, or does well? I don't re-sign him. Or them. Perhaps it's time to go for a different leader [than Steegmans] or another puncheur [instead of Bossisio].

It's not me wanting any of your riders either, just giving you food for thought.
