Just like I don't use training camps because AI doesn't use them, I'm interested in the following:
Do AI riders use the energy gel? |

Sorry I can't help you but maybe someone else knows.
Just another question, but what does energy gel do? I sometimes use it but i never see any effect
It minimally increases your red bar so that your rider can attack longer basically.

Aha, then i think the AI does use it (at least on hard and extreme).

since the continental teams get pro tour points. have that something to with wild cards?

No, I'm pretty sure they don't.
When they can attack for long, it's usually due to the "flashing green moments".

They don't get Pro Tour points.
The Superprestige Ranking has an influence on the wildcards.

I think I´ve seen a ss of the pro tour ranking with riders on it, that rides for coninetal teams. Are we talking about a bug then, or have I seen wrong maybe? |

As far as I understand the new system (and I may be wrong about this), the two rankings have been merged together - but I don't think that continental riders gain points in PT races and vice versa.
... although, having now looked in the classification table in the DB, it seems I'm wrong  |
