Plaza is looking really strong so far. A top 5 could be a real achievement for him

It's still not good enough
Nah this was just what I needed. My team has been doing so completely different this season. We've been much much better in the stages, but much worse in the GCs. I think I got 4 or 5 stagewins within the entire season last year, and now 2 in one day. Very pleassant.

Pretty decent as Kolesnikov and Siutsou shouldn't be a serious threat in the mountains. If only CastaƱo can eat up those and hold off the danger from behind I will be very pleased.

Plaza's looking strong so far and leading 2 classifications is great, especially the GC. Still it will be very hard to keep the jersey in front of Valverde and Uran in the queen stage.
This is definitely going to be our best race so far with Mancebo and Van Huffel also doing good.

Excellent stage for Uran, very nicely set up for the mountain stage.

Nice performance from Siutsou in the important 3rd stage - on stage 4 we hope that he can cling on to the lead group for as long as possible. An outside chance of a top 10 GC place which would be a good result for us. |

Well, Plaza lost the jersey there but third overall is still great, with 2 other guys in top 20 and leading the teams classification

Well Valverde justified his favourite claim there.
A good performance by Siutsou, despite attacking way too soon its good to be at the front of the peleton when it hits the fan. We hope now we can justify our wild card inclusion with some attacks on the flatter stages or possibly Manarelli can survive to be involved in a sprint! |

Monstrous performance from Valverde.
The team overall is fairly weak though so I just hope we can keep a lid on things over the next few stages. |

I was hoping for a podium but 5th isn't bad considering the opposition. Valverde is just too strong here

He is certainly relishing his return to the PT the last couple of stages. |

Uran did well, so I cant really complain - 2nd overall would be a good result. To beat Valverde in a spanish Stage Race well suited to him, never going to be easy. It bodes well for the rest of the season - theres no Swiss or French version of Valverde to benefit from national bonuses there.
Now please no crashes or punctures in the final 3 stages!

Damn, I'm on such a roll. Pedraza's training was well spent.

Good to see a breakaway make it. With the weakness of I'm team I'm a little nervous about the final two stages. |

With the breakaway winning I though Plaza might be able to keep the points jersey for another day but Bewley got it by... well nothing.
